... if you're referring to its popularity, have you guys already thought about how a lot of potential players haven't tried the game yet because they think it is ONLY a mod about taking Team Fortress Classic's unique content (deathmatches, mercenaries, machine guns and crowbars, etc) and giving it the graphics of TF2? They aren't aware that this is just [I]one[/I] game-mode, and that the mod is also about recreating TF2 as it was back in 2007 (plus Pyro airblast etc).
I myself had this misconception before I really looked into the mod. I was just so desperate to get rid of the cosmetics and candy canes that I was willing to try [I]anything[/I], even if it was going to make the gameplay like something from 1999 which I had no emotional connection with because I'd never played it.
But now I've realised the full depth and ambition of the mod, and it's even more of a godsend then I thought it would be! I think a LOT of people would be interested in a cosmetic-less, old school TF2 mod, but they don't know about it because most of the TF2C videos on youtube are about the deathmatch mode and it gives them quite a limited perspective.
Just to clarify, I genuinely LOVE that deathmatch mode now that I've played it. It's fun as all hell and I am going to continue playing it. But yeah, are there any plans to show off more of the TF2-esque, class-based game modes as well? I can try join in if you guys need the participants, though I live in Europe.

I probably ought to clarify that I didn't mean for that comment to be taken seriously. I trust that as long as the devs don't announce a cancellation, TF2C is still being actively worked on.
Hey guys,
In light of recent drama, I've decided to step down from my position as project lead, working on TF2Classic is very rewarding, but also mentally draining. Being a part of this project has been very enlightening, but at the end of the day, it's a huge responsibility.
I can't handle the stress and expectations of being project lead any more. Though I enjoy what I do on the team, mostly level design, it puts a huge toll on me because the expectations are so high.
I am not completely leaving the team, but my participation in the project will be minimal. I would like to be available to help push the level design team in the right direction and provide feedback from playtests.
This decision has come because I don't think I'm suited for the role of project lead, especially with a project such as TF2C which, honestly, has a really messy structure internally.
TF2Classic has been very hard to deal with, but it has been a very good experience for myself overall.
Within my time on the team I've made many friends, connections and met people who have arguably changed my life for the better.
In the wake of myself stepping down I'd like to appoint Stachekip and PistonMiner together as the new project leads.

It looks similar. Maybe the mouth needs to bee a little upper, closer to the nose.
Also, I suggest to take in consideration make this head clearly recognosible from heavy's head. As heavy and henchmann are strong characters (with big chin, small eyes, etc) , they both need to show very unique facial details to be strong but with their own personality.
I don't know if i've explained myself clearly (i'm from Spain, mid level english...).
But good work. The henchmann is a character that i wanted to be seen in a sfm poster, so i'm very happy with this

Well we might have to wait a bit for that, it has been 3 weeks since I started my model and it's still not finished. After that there is still the rigging and the texture to do.
And keep in mind that I'm not part of the TF2C team, my model is a personal work that I've started because I wanted to learn 3D (and because I really like the henchman for some reason), even if I ever finish this model, it will not be added into the game unless the team decide to, or someone make a mod out of it (that would be a mod for a mod of a sequel of a remake of a mod).

Ok, my fault, sorry. I know that this is a fan project and it takes a lot of work for not professional people, so I understand if something is unfinished or moves very slowly.
Anyway, starting a project, even if at the end is uncompleted, is a good thing, because it can motivate some other talented people to start other projects.
Talking about the face, I think that once the face has its own hair, i will look more like a person and less like, erm, that mask.

i guess that, in contrast to Deathmatch (which you can see new videos in youtube from time to time), people are not playing 4 team.
But i think is normal. 4 team needs at least 24 players to work properly. Deathmatch can be played with 18, 12, even 8 players perfectly.
If there was a 3 team mode, it would be easy to play, but there is no maps for three teams

and hope to it to come out better soon enough,plus it becomes a great sub for Tf2.Or least a addition.
