Thing is, the plan is drifting towards newer elements such as espionage with the new classes, new guns/importation of the old weapons such as the Kritzkrieg or the Poacher's Pride, etc.
I like it and think it's cool, but I feel it's going to become less Classical as time goes on and more Original.

Does anyone think that the Heavy should be getting, as his name implies, heavy weapons in things other than his primary slots? I mean, he's a beefy guy, so you'd think he'd have beefy weapons in things other than the primary slot, like the Super shotgun or a big ol' sledge hammer

Well yeah, I understand that. It's just that not only does Classic stick a lot better, but honestly, Community TF2 sounds like a fuckin bad name. Like Charon said, it also implies that the mod is what the entire community thinks it should be. Which as I am not seeing Snowplow, Skins (Though skins have been discussed as an achievement reward), or Ponies and Furries, I can say it's not very true to the community.
I guess you could say the same for Classic, as this is not including shitty grenades or Hazmat suits. Though it also implies things like 4-Teams, Nailguns and other things that were part of an older Team Fortress. And with things such as the future VIP gamemode, ports of maps, and other possible discussions that could arise on certain things, there are still things going to be added from the older games.

or a handgun (basicly like a mini shotgun (kinda like the short stop) but bassed off the concept art

The primary YLW should be more darker, like the color "Gold" or "School Bus Yellow", since its easier to tell from the background and not get confused with like sand.

For the Heavy there is a weapon called the Heavy Caliber in the steam workshop. It is Heavy sized so yes that would fit him.

Anyone interested in grenades as a new feature? Maybe as a separate mode? Hell why not have a Dethmatch option for grenades?
Wait that is actually a good idea. Have servers or modes with grenades enabled. I mean, there are servers in TF2 without random crits, so why not the same for grenades?
There also need to be a tutorial for this awesome mod. Of course it will be implemented later down teh line, among other things, but still keep up the good work Mod Devs. :D

And on the subject of grenades they could be a 2 to 3 max ammo new slot. Not rechargeable but ammo pickups, and ammo pickups prioritize guns over grenades. Sounds good?
I'd love it if TF2C got its own version of hazard course as the tutorial. Have the Merc be the playable character while the Scientist class talks him through it.
I already explained why giving Demo any kind of hitscan weapon in any slot is a terrible idea; it throws his balance way off. Hitscan weapons are automatically better than arcing projectiles at long and close ranges, while Demoman is supposed to be restricted to midrange, in order to control how exceedingly powerful he is.

Why is a hitscan weapon for the Demo OP? It would serve the same function as the Soldiers shotgun, and it is a optional thing. Meaning you could use it , but you do not have to. Hell what are Shotguns in TF2 used for? Close range defense? And I want a shotgun for the Demo, because I am honesty curious ihow would that work, and to see if it is OP like you said.
Demo is for defensive crowd control and offensive building demolition, he isn't a class that can take on people at close range, except for using a melee weapon.

Once the team moves the game to the new Beta branch, they will have the downloads set up again I think.

A whole different game requiring the Source SDK 2013 Base Multiplayer on Steam to play. I won't go into detail on how to download it though, i'd wait until the mod gets back up.

the color watch in tf2 not only shows the different hues for each team, but also the color distribution each model should feature and wich hue should be used more prominently on each character. this absolutely falls apart the moment you swalk away from the main red/blue tones because you ignored the basic principles behind contrast and simply adjusted the ligthing/saturation, rather than adjusting the hues.

we have moved over to the beta branch. we are currently awaiting a rare double whammy fix from valve for securing VAC connections on linux servers and for regular servers running to connect to the master server. there is a glitch that is preventing them from updating due to the server saying through steamcmd that it is up to date. we don't have the code to edit this part of the engine, so [B]we will not have the patch out until valve can fix this glitch.[/B]

If you people still have the plans for the inclusion of the half life vox. You could make it say different names for the vip gamemode. And also add an occupation to the start for example Doctor Birdwell.
