Alright so, remember that color problem i've showed. This also happens in dm_2fort, ctf_2fort, cp_powerhouse and dm_ravine. In some maps it's normal. EDIT: Now i know what causes it, it happens when Color Correction is on.
So the issue of not being able to play this awesome mod is remedied somewhat with the server list fix. Temporary fix but still something. If the vehicle driving mode is added, big maps are needed. I saw in the thumbnail of the demonstration video that the DM merc is holding the grenades. Grenades for 5th slot confirmed?

This mod is one of the greatest mod's i have played in years.
If there's going to be any more classes, I think we should get some more racial diversity

Maybe have him at scout speed, he can use any weapon on the field with a damage penalty but he is the only guy who can drive cars so people can hitch a ride with him. Id be game for this.

I'd like for the Driver to be used in his own version of Deathmatch, I wouldn't mind driving around a map made for the gamemode shooting people and driving around, but if he were added into the current Deathmatch, then I'd think it be to unfair to fight against with him being to fast to aim at and dealing with him trying to run you over.

if its possible to make it able to shoot in vehicles, a car arena map would be fun, but it shouldnt be any serious focus of our devs at the time

So, I was making shitty map as I seem to do a lot. I was just messing around in Hammer, when I decided to mess with the 3D viewport. Of course I tried everything. Lighting Preview (Hah!), Shaded Textured, Smooth, all that shit. But, I tried the Ray-traced Preview, and just got the missing texture. But, then I noticed a second window briefly flash in my Hammer window before going to the background. Looking at my Taskbar revealed 2 Hammer windows. At this point I was very interested, as I have never seen this before. I clicked on the window, and my whole perspective on life changed. [img]http://i.imgur.com/Z1r70sg.png[/img] This is the first thing I saw. It's A on my map except, with light... It was glitchy, and not the best, but holy shit. The possibilities could be endless! [img]http://i.imgur.com/JHrJ13i.png[/img] [img]http://i.imgur.com/QWnZ7ID.png[/img] [img]http://i.imgur.com/bOMixaG.png[/img] I tried it with a few more areas to see how useful this could be in future projects. As you can see in the third picture, it also renders lights other then the light_environment So, trying to experiment, I changed the direction of my sun light to see how the test would go. [img]http://i.imgur.com/yxcobiC.png[/img] I'm not too happy with this, as it's not very conclusive. Yes, the light did change, but so did the perspective that I took the picture from. I can't tell if my changing of the settings changed the light, or if this is based entirely on perspective. I'll have to fuck around with it some more. So anyways, that is my useless info dump for the day. If you liked it, perhaps you can mess around with it and see if you can dig something else up.

Also why do we have to stop at just plain old deathmatch? Why not spice it up with different objectives from simply killing each other? Steal the bacon perhaps?

While introducing a new game mode, something akin to Unreal Tournament 2004's Onslaught mode.

But making a gamemode in which you are that quad-car-dude and you need to keep the ( unique ) flag should be fun. I'd call it: "Mechanical-Mayhem".
