So far ive only thrown together a simple, ambiguous, spy-spin-off with some 70's suits for reference.

Could possibly switch his rig from spy's to scout's to make him more unique and perhaps even a bit more stealthy looking and a little less bond, with scouts more hunched over pose
Example sketch:
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39556064/concepts/Characters/AgentPose.jpg[/t]
might make sense as he's more of a sneaky assassin than anything else in the context of espionage
It looks neat, but I feel like the design looks way too similar to the Spy's design, especially with the mask he's wearing and his proportions.
I would experiment a bit and try some stuff like opening his jacket and/or giving him a turtleneck as shown in your 70s references, giving his suit that patterned look, or change the headwear to somethings else. Of course, I think you'll want to mess around with the silhouette to differentiate it from Spy's silhouette.
One last try then

Blahotly, listen buddy, you're just hurting yourself... Let it go, just let it go...
Joke aside, you design like a boss, I really love each of your design, but that tie needs to disappear.
Why not try and make the agent his own thing? Make him from the ground up, only thing he'll have in common with the spy is the fact that hes a silent killer.
Btw are we calling him spy or agent?
I like the tie a lot, makes the janitor more visually interesting. I agree that it doesn't REALLY make sense for him to be wearing one, but I just like how it looked originally.
Does look more like a fast food/café worker more than a janitor in retrospect
no tie versions: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39556064/concepts/Characters/JanitorGreenNoTIe.jpg[/t][t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39556064/concepts/Characters/JanitorGreen0.jpg[/t]
For me, the tie simply is the problem: ties represent importance, classy, order: the guy mop up trash. The everyone-got-ties plan don't feel like wanting the janitor to be in.
It's not unheard of for people on duty to wear a uniform with a tie during the 50s.
[t]http://www.dickwhitney.net/AO1941JanitorsPhoto.JPG[/t]
The workplace was about keeping a consistent, clean, respectable image. I remember that you could get thrown out for wearing a seersucker suit and coming to work like that in the summer.
It wasn't until the 80s were you see shows like One Day at a Time where the superintendent of the building appeared in a t-shirt and overalls. Otherwise, the older guys usually still wore ties.
Janitor's usually don't wear their good clothes on the job for a reason.
I do like that jumpsuit concept though, maybe you can keep it open but replace the tie and collar shirt with a plain shirt (Might want to change the weird collar on the jumpsuit too), or just close up the suit and have his bucket be colorable or something.

Well fudge that second picture was just what I was thinking about, that's what I get for taking too long to post in an active thread.
Well since we are on the topic of bodygroups, why not give a body group for the Scientist to have his lab coat off?

I think that's how the janitor design initially looked, actually.
The agent could look like a mafia:

How about the agent wear some sort of bond-esque stealthy clothes, like what soldier wore in the blood in the water comic?
Also on an unrelated note, does anyone have a link to that youtube video of merc and the VIP escort talking about a ship in the bottle posted way back?

For me, the second one with the open jumpsuit is just perfect.
-Simple
-Color balanced
-Variety of accessories
-Dashin' look

They did't want to wear their best clothes, but the image was about sanitation and cleanliness.

Similar to nurses, early sanitation workers and street sweepers even wore white.
Gas station attendants wore caps and bow ties, but covered with a jumpsuit.

Figured I'd give that a shot

Love it.
Second option is for him to wear suspenders? :v:

Only if you think the heavy's bullet vest makes him look like the demoman.

The Scientist and Agent look especially nice with the bowtie. I'm not so sure about the Guard, though.
For the agent, what about an American CIA agent type character.
Something like young K from MIB3: [T]http://natedsanders.com/ItemImages/000025/42468m_lg.jpeg[/t]
Would provide a contrast to Spy's very campy, cocky character. This is a character that is just doing his job, and as such he is more serious.
Dumb question. I've been away from the mod for a while, is the security scare dealt with, safe to play again now?
Also, do i need to re-download the mod, or does it do online updates?

it is safe to play and you do have to reinstall, here is a link to the official DL page
I warn you, Jake Steele, the in-game community is extremely poisonous. I played barely 10 minutes today because the mic spam and hateful chat is as bad as League of Legends, and THAT is something. My friend won't even play TF2C and only plays regular TF2 because of both the shitty ingame community and, for some reason, calls this a ripoff of another game and says the there is no point in the mod.
As long as we're spit-balling ideas for weapons, I would like to bring up the Dardick 1500 pistol.
IT uses a unique triangle type bullet casing that could be a good evidence type thing for espionage.

He looks more like the Handyman from RCT to me.
Is there a list of official servers?

You can find a list of servers, on the vault f4 site
So what do we need to wait for in order for the Civilian to finally be released on the steam workshop?
I know on trello it says he needs animation and promotions, and honestly I wouldn't mind doing promotions for him, but model-wise he seems pretty complete.
Apologies for restating stuff, but I said this earlier but never got an answer,
I said this earlier but never got an answer,
Please keep in mind the Trello is incredibly outdated as we tend to keep inner-team organization to our private channels.
I'm not entirely sure how to answer your question though as I'm not responsible for the Civilian's animations etc. but I think we really are just waiting for the animations, sit tight!

How much effort would it take to update it? It seems like an incredible organization tool, don't know why you'd abandon it.
