If I recall correctly, Chowder made it as a test map, since we only had one other map at the time.
its not a test map, its a leaked beta 2fort, the map can be found in sfm, under the name "devtest"
Currently working on an update to dm_grain. Besides the shitty-ass indoor lighting and some shitty-ass detailing which I'm working on fixing, anyone got any other gripes about it? (inb4 "it sux")
Also, when is TF2C getting Mac support, I've been itching to play DM but all I've got is this darn MacBook...
Unless there was someone to compile the code on a mac, I don't think Mac support is planned.

replace one of the rocket launcher spawns with a machine gun perhaps?
Mac is supported
It's just that it takes a lot of tinkering to get it working. Atm we know TF2C runs well in a Wineskin, but currently it can't run natively due to a library dll bug.

Progress my friends.
There is a bug that allows engis to build more than one buildings or multiple.
1.go engi, build a sentry.
2.carry the sentry back to spawn
3.change class then back to engi
4.you can build 2 sentrys.
Repeat for even more. Works with dispensers, teleporters also.

So we can assume that "Meet the engineer" was recorded in TF2C...
Wait no?
i just got an idea for a weapon, it could allow the engi to build two sentries, but only level them up to lv2, and it removes half of the sentries health. this is probably really unbalanced, but idk.
Well I found some exploits, and I record that. I guess they will fixed in the future.

Oh yeah I was on the multi sentry one, I think we even crashed the server because there were so many sentries the server died.

Fixed for the next version.
I had an idea for a spy watch that could work.
When the spy uses the watch, it puts out a hologram of the spy moving forward and makes the spy partially invisible, like how you would see an invisible allied spy.
You can taunt kill through the gate in the set up phase of Payload btw

Lol, I actually discovered the Cloaked Tauntkill one. I was on a pl_upward server and I tauntkilled a Heavy defending the cart, both teams went Spy to try to recreate the glitch. Amazing...

The cloaked tauntkill is a classic glitch on tf2,i discovered it in some random tauntkill compilation video.
This game looks pretty cool, I remember seeing a trailer or something of it months ago but I have a question, is this the same game that led to people getting their steam accounts stolen?
Could someone explain that with more detail?

I haven't heard anything about stolen accounts, but the "accounts stolen" could be related to any SDK 2013 (Fistful of Frags, Counter Strike, many more) game before a patch, which prevents audio files from delivering malware.

This explains why this one sketchy server with a hacker had a guy putting the command to enable custom audio in chat.

Was this recently or older?

basicly anything that used source 2013 base multiplayer as a part of their mod was affected even live tf2 or counter strike source was affected
it was discovered that they could distribute malware on this mod first at least publicly but tf2 had this as well but people used it to make sprays that crash the server and it was patched out
Was this recently or older?
It's still up. It's the "Some kinda server" server.
If this mod was on steam will workshop be a thing? or no?
It's still up. It's the "Some kinda server" server.
Should I worry I tried joining that server not to long ago but nothing I know of downloaded but when I got in the console was spamming an error so I couldn't do anything when I joined.
If this mod was on steam will workshop be a thing? or no?
Most likely, no. This mod uses leaked code, so I doubt Valve will allow it, even though they gave the okay to let it exist.
Progress on the map

Honestly, it's more likely not to happen due to them still having an active/live version of actual-TF2 that is also one of their cash cows, for it to not be on Steam rather than it being a leaked code thing.
Valve's normally supportive of any mod/community effort usually as long as its with good intentions and doesn't serve to profit.
If TF2 was long dead and TF2C showed up 5-10 years later it'd probably get straight on there.
Outside of that one message from them; if they cared at all about what we were doing or the fact that we used an early version of their stuff we'd have had a cease-and-desist a long time ago.

Valve doesnt support tf2classic if they did they would maybe fix the source engine exploits themselves.
Valve doesnt support tf2classic if they did they would maybe fix the source engine exploits themselves.
you're saying this to someone who knows how the source engine works.

Valve DID fix the exploits. They pushed their latest Source 2013 changes to the beta testing branch.
