Another team-based shooter with suspicious resemblance to TF2

Look at the FUCKING KILL NOTIFICAIONS on HAVE. SERIOUSLY.
Wow, it's so different from TF2 I'm not even going to try and compare it.
Illiterates don't belong in facepunch, read again. And notice what you did wrong.
Notice how the weeaboo said it.
what does this have to do with anything
It has a red and blue team, therefor, it must be a TF2 rip off :downs:

By saying the resemblance is suspicious, you're pretty much saying that ideas may have been stolen and/or it is a rip-off.
It's more than possible that the game has been inspired from TF2, but I don't see how it's 'suspicious.'

I think you're trying to put words in OP's mouth, I think he means it looks like TF2, which means its tf2 inspired. And that means TF2 won't have this unique cartoonish looks anymore, because there will be copycats. They copied the best and biggest attribute of tf2, and that is the cartoonish feeling.
Also rating yourself is cool? Kid
The assault guy is black.
Now they're fucking ripping off the U.S. president?

tf2 did not invent cartoonish style
also i didn't rate myself, so i'll rate myself artistic to prove it

They didn't invent the cartoon style, but they made it succeed. Also it is very much alike TF2 may I say, and may I also say you are very much alike my flippy floppies. Damn my flippy floppies always trying to play smart in arguments, but they know they are wrong.
why do you argue with your flippy floppies?
why do you argue with your flippy floppies?
Because, I only use them in yachts, but they insist that I use them everywhere else, like I'm gonna go to the train tracks and stuff with flippy floppies, they don't realize that I can't use them all the time, they are like flippy floppies. I once punched Marcus Fenix, which is the right flippy floppie, and ever since then he's been tearing up, not like Gordon Freeman (Left flippy floppie) He's always been a good flippy floppie, I'm just gonna use Gordon Freeman.
Oh, sorry. That was me.
You just made PjaNoo^ look like an idiot
You just made PjaNoo^ look like an idiot
O'rly, cus you're an idiot if you assume and been prooven wrong, then I guess all the atheists will be idiots on doomsday along with my flippy floppies.
BOOYAH
You just made PjaNoo^ look like an idiot
because he is one
because he is one
ok
ok
Thanks bye?

ye
So Valve copyrighted the class based genre? This is completely different. It has robots and everything looks different except that cheerleader lady, who is like the scout.
I hate when I keep thinking of an argument for a post and after some time, thinking that I got a really good one, nobody even reads it.
Anyway it's what I said IMO. But just an addition, an example of what I mean: Doublecross. Compare it with 2fort. On a first look, you'll see nothing in common. But try to... look further into it. Both have a bridge in the middle, sewers, a way to go under the bridge, the sniping spots in each base....
It's the same thing. It has a few things in common that together become something considerable, but comparing is stupid, as they don't have so much of those common stuff.
The game itself looks tits. I can see the resemblance but it doesn't feel like a rip off. Also those boobs better have jiggly-bones and not just predefined animations.
So in OP's words Battlefield,Battlefront,Quake wars, Call of duty, Conquest and all other Team class games are now rip-offs?
I guess nobody noticed I said "Suspicious Resemblance", not "Blatant Ripoff"...
Explain to me why you felt the need to include the "suspicious" descriptor.
Holy shit that music was amazing.
Explain to me why you felt the need to include the "suspicious" descriptor.
Suspicious in that perhaps the game was a bit more than just inspired by TF2.
It amazes me that people are still ripping on me instead of discussing the game, negatively or otherwise.

On a more video-related note, what's the Scout girl supposed to be if she isn't a player class? Mascot? Cheerleader? Random fanservice?
Because, I only use them in yachts, but they insist that I use them everywhere else, like I'm gonna go to the train tracks and stuff with flippy floppies, they don't realize that I can't use them all the time, they are like flippy floppies. I like the way you recover from lost arguments.
When in doubt, NON-SENSICAL FLIPPY FLOPPY JOKES!!!

Well now you're just putting words into my mouth.
Well now you're just putting words into my mouth.
But they're your words.
I simply don't see a substantial a difference between "perhaps the game was a bit more than just inspired by TF2" and "perhaps the game is a ripoff/derivative of TF2". I'm not trying to be a douche or anything; I am now just genuinely interested in learning how the phrases are not interchangable so far as semantics are concerned.

Saying the game is a ripoff of TF2 is a step too far. Saying it is suspiciously close is apparently not descriptive enough (Unless taken too literally, it would seem). Rather than try to continue to argue my point (Or my defense, at this point), I think it'd be a much better idea to let this Hindenburg of a thread flicker out and sink into abyss, since it would appear everyone loves arguing on the net so much.
So to answer your question, find the middle ground. That is, more or less, what I meant.
