That's Eat Lead right? They reference every single game ever made in that thing.

Looks like a good timewaster.
I laughed when they started mixing TF2 with Mario.

A shame that Eat Lead was pretty terrible in terms of gameplay. I'd hate to see Blood Bath and Beyond suffer the same fate.

I see the heavy is enjoying himself.

that's the support
The gunner class has a minigun and is big, that's all the resemblance I'm seeing. Then again, big guy + minigun has become such a cliche that it's not even similiar.
Now if he's Russian...
that's the support
aka "suspicious resemblance" to the engineer
Assault, Tank, Sniper, Support, Gunner, and Assassin

Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Sniper, Medic, Spy.
Say that again.

TF2 ones are obvious, simple and easy to remember. Their names aren't anything complicated but it seems they have tried to make something cooler.
It pretty much states what they do. Assault assaults, tank tanks, sniper snipes, support supports, gunner shoots things, and the assassin assassinates.
It has a very nice art style that looks good in a sort of cartoony sense, while not being over the top. It involves team-based fighting between two teams, and it uses classes. Some of the classes include a person who uses heavy weapons, a support mechanic who builds turrets, a stealthy assassin who can use cloaking abilities and daggers to discretely take down opponents, a pyromaniac with a flame thrower, and the token Black Guy.
Now, which game am I talking about?
TF2.
I wouldn't call the Tank in this game a pyromaniac just because he uses some kinda flamethrower thing.
Assassin = Spy
Support = Engineer
Gunner = Heavy
Sniper = Sniper
And it has a cartoon-ey look, and the teams are Red and Blue.
I can see what you mean, but I'm pretty sure this game is completely different to TF2.
This one is all futuristic and TF2 is set in the 50-60's
This one also looks a lot more cartoon-ey.
And I know it's been said but there's not much more that you can do with classes that TF2 hasn't already done.

I don't even think that's fire, looks more like some sort of beam.

h.a.v.e. online is more like tf2 combined with quake gameplay
also the characters have an excuse to be anime-ish and doll-like, that's because they are dolls!
they're a bunch of toys fighting each other.
Hmmm... TF2+Quake... Maybe it's just TF (the original one on the quake engine)

No, TF2 is more cartoony. That and aesthetics don't really matter. Future, spytech, doesn't matter, the point is the gameplay, which isn't really a ripoff, it's just going off of TFC's format, which has been done for years anyway.
Though I will admit, the general proportions of the characters look a lot like TF2, especially in the eyes.
Who's a me? It's me mario!

The tank is a bean
What...So every game with Red and blue teams are rip-off's?
Of course why didn't we see it before..Clearly all games made before and after 2007 are ripp-off's
