Go on server, talk to the person in chat. I've seen that tactic work successfully many times.
So guys. I met some noob who has buds who just doesn't want to give them up. He doesn't know the value, because he originally wanted pyro weapons for them. He wants to keep them on the basis of "I LIKE THEMMMM" So does anyone have any idea on how I can get him to give me them, a way to push the odds in my favor? Was thinking of a cheap, cool looking hat.

What he means is that the players scammed may find out about the thread and it could spread throughout the "noob" community.
and unusuals get uncrated everyday
Its natural for people to find out their hat values eventually.
Trade people with lower hours, if their unusual hat is worth alot someone has probably asked.
