Over 1000$ is a complete waste of money, VALVe WILL do something about this, just try, my friend lost an unusual for a scammer and got it back, PFS Venom got his buds and several hats back from a scam too, why can't you get for even more valuable items?

They changed their policies or something stating if an item is lost trading it for money or games it's not their responsibility if you get scammed.
