A little tip for those just starting out on scamming:
I've noticed that cp_degrootkeep is a great place to start out, because people will generally take some of the newer melee weapons if you offer them. If you put some up, chances are people will pay a reclaimed or two for one, depending on which update it's from and how useful it is. The "150 hour threshold" people generally use may not apply here, because the item's value is individual to the gamemode, not the person you are trading with. It's a good way to make a quick profit.

Lemonator got scammed? As jealous as I might be from him making 12+ Max's Heads(Not to mention 3 of my favourite hats with my favourite effecs), in the time I've been struggling to make one(As a matter of fact I HAVEN'T made one, I did sell some promos(Beside the few scammed Earbuds I had, I had to sacrifice my only Bill's, Big kill and V Luger) to give Chaohord's Max Head back), it is very unfortunate that he someone gets ripped off THAT badly.
Sure, he did "scam" to get them himself in the first place, but at least the people we "scam" is left with something, and often is more happy with what we leave them with, even if it's of a much smaller value.
Beside that, you know for the future to NOT put up 6 Max's Heads at once in the trade window and click accept. Next time tell the trader you will take payment from one at a time, to avoid huge scams(or just wait for them to pay first).

Yes. If I had reputation as being trusted(Well, guess I have some) and some complete stranger handed over 6 Max's Heads at once, I'd certainly begin to consider my honesty.
You never will know other peoples intends, no matter what their previous reputation might have been. It's 660 dollars of value, who wouldn't at least think of running away?

I agree completely, as much as everyone could potentially wait for the right time to scam, reputation DOES help with guiding in the right direction. Also, I'm sure there IS people out there with completely pure intends, but the thing is, we will never know who that might be. Beside, some can become twisted as the potential profit raise. Maybe 6 Max's Heads aren't enough for some, but, 3 Burning Kabutos might be(or whatever Unusual is most valuable right now).
Some just want to help, and others wait for the right time.
Anyway, I imagine Lemonator will be careful in the future. I'd love to say "I hope you recover, brother" but, what's the point? We know he will recover, lol.

Can't say I don't feel bad for him but I don't really care that much. Maybe because I'm just generous with what little scams I get. He kinda had it coming to him. Maybe not $650 worth but at least something.
