although this is a few posts late. people who complain about scams drying up. there will always be a well liked hat thats from an update that doesn't have vintage. such as the tavish crown for the demoman. if you scam well liked update or holiday hats. those can still catch a price. just rack up enough of those wanted hats and you can get buds and so on and do what you want with them. it may take time but your still getting these hats dirt cheap.

In total today: 13 weapons (1 vintage, a buff banner) got me: A Bills, a Vintage whiskered gentlemen, a vintage vintage tyrolean and a Demo Fro. And an ellis or 2.
THIS IS AMAZING.
Just did the most epic "scam".
I trade a guy, I ask if he want to trade his Bill's Hat, he respond "sure", I ask him "What are you looking for? Weapons/paint/hats?", he respond "Nah, I'm fine" and accept the trade.
It was very kind of him, so afterwards I gave him my katana, even if it's an awesome weapon to scam with, oh well.
