This has been a big boost for the playerbase! You could tell that interest was waning among some players.

i feel like the textures are a bit inconsistent. we should probably have one person do one style of textures. for example, look at these two. Weapons with skins arent lowpoly, and require -dxlevel 95 in the startup commands.
Does this give fps boost?

Unfortunately, this pack seem to have died from all the updates TF2 has gotten. I don't see an update for this pack in the foreseeable future.
the closest thing i can allow for an update for the moment would be to fininsh out the weapons (reskins and all) without decent textures, because i do not have a texturer for the moment, except hecates but i do not believe he should be the sole proprieter of all the textures that need finishing if you go to [url=https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1250115&p=46960117&viewfull=1#post46960117]this link[/url] for aything regarding texturing, [sp]anything that says textured by Insaneicide or only has "modeled by" in it are what need to be textured[/sp] i do not think i will be finishing out bots even though i already have models for the Demo Heavy and Engineer, the time required to uv all the individual parts, and get textured properly is too much work with all the weapons aswell, i might but the forseeable future, no [b]REGARDING THE GUNMETTLE UPDATE[/b] after i had surgery i had a few days off from work, so i used this time to see what it would take to get gunmettle working on DX9 systems, and unfortunately it doesnt look good, the texture combination NEEDS TO BE 1024x or higher for ALL weapon specific textures, pointsampled [sp]what makes the texture pixelized[/sp] and NO MIPMAPS, and the patterns looked good at 128x pointsampled, and that does not garuntee they will not be aliased causing blurry textures in first person OR third person, so what works on a single weapon in first person does not always work in third person and vice versa, so [b]I will not be supporting decorated weapons[/b] i will however be making the stat track model and updating the weapons that use it

It might not look perfect, but I'll try and make it resemble the original texturer's textures as close as possible :).
I'll see if i can start modelling some. Might take a crack at those unfinished weapons. However i cant texture but i'll ask a buddy to help on that

Um, has anyone crashed when joining a valve servers and some community servers? If you guys have a solution, please reply cause I really want to gain fps but at the same time playing on valve servers, all the community servers lag like hell
I love this mod, and seeing it still updated late 2015.. Keep the good work guys!
Are there sounds that go along with this pack? Because I imagine it'd be fun if someone over-processed the sound of TF2 to make it sound more like TFC.

So the project isn't dead :D[/QUOTE] No, just the only one working on it, and life tends to get the better of this pack, Anyway, some things i wanted to address Thus far, i have fixed the scout arms bug, and have addressed the bugs regarding skinnable weapons, most are fixed except for the bp icons not rendering due to a texture issue i forgot about since the last time i messed with decorated weapons, the weapons can be inspected, and sometimes this will fix the icon, but most cases will not, i know the probable issue, but work and home life have not permitted me much time to fix all of these issues. Will release as soon as i finish

Will release as soon as i finish[/QUOTE] Okay, you're working on the mod now and fixing bugs, that's fine but I'm really confused on how the no hats mod can work in valve servers (sv_pure 1) but this mod doesn't, If you can do your magic by making this mod work in sv_pure 1 or 2 servers, that would be wonderful
