other than hats and weapon reskins, there are a lot of other ideas valve should be tossing around here.

don't see why they couldn't just give us the fishcake and spacechem pin instead of this crafting thing. unless there will be some other way to obtain moustachium after they add other things to make with it, i don't see much of a point in it, the fish fossil, or the "pin fragment".

besides, why is the pin fragment gold, the moustachium gold, but the pin itself is silver?

i do however like the idea of pins for playing other games or getting achievements in those games. It's small, it's not as ugly or awful looking, and it doesn't need to follow the art style as much as hats should (which are big and change the silhouette of a character).

I also think it would be rather nice for them to give us multiple "pin/badge" slots under misc, so we can wear multiple pins and badges.

And I didn't include all the Japan Relief effort hats nor halloween hats that look generally dumb or any festive really. There's not THAT much dumb hats imo, but then again there are thousands, hundreds of thousands of hats in this game! :v:

With well over 200 hours clocked in on the first M&B (thanks to all the glorious mods) and 60 on warband, I was already planning on purchasing with fire & sword, the hats are a nice bonus.

A friend of mine has been playing like 300 hours of the original mount and blade. Is it really that awesome? What's the point in playing this game? Is it an RTS or RPG, i've never understood.

It's a bit of both really. You have your character and you can recruit people for your army. As you play you and your army gain experience you can upgrade them and yourself. You can also get more armour, weapons, horses, etc. You can join a faction, run a town, village or many towns/villages. You can eventually work your way up to king (in warband). It's quite a large game, and so are the battles, your army can be built up to have hundreds of soldiers and you can partake in massive battles and sieges. I'd highly recommend it to anyone but some might not like it. I believe it can be downloaded for free on taleworlds' website and you can play untill level 7, if you're interested in trying it out.
