Just a small request, guys. Was playing around with the Scorch Shot yesterday, and, I dunno if it's just me, but it seems that since the damage buff, the normal hit does 30 damage, while a minicrit hit does... 26.
Granted, they were both decently long range shots, just to distract a sniper, but, does anybody want to check, and see if it is something that Valve forgot to check?

Same thing with the Detonator. I got a mini-crit from an explosion and it only ticked for 26 damage.

Might be that direct hits deal 30, but the AoE shots deal considerably less. They only just added AoE minicrits, so it could be that you're seeing direct, non-minicrit hits deal 30, and indirect, minicrit hits deal 26.

Kinda ruins the point of the Detonator's explosion doing mini-crits if they only scale off the explosion's actual damage. That's an additional, what, 6 damage? I figured they would scale off the projectile's damage.
Also, I have two questions about the whole contract thing:
The first is are the things you buy to be able to participate tradable or do I HAVE to buy them from the mann co store?
The second is, from my understanding, if you complete your two objectives, you get cases that you have to open with keys. Is this true? Do I have to waste more money than just $6 to get the weapon skins?

You have a chance of getting one of the cases upon completing a contract, but you're more likely to get one of the skinned weapons. If you do get a case, though, you would have to buy a key to open it.
The smart thing to do for now when getting a case is just to sell it off.

When sniping against other snipers, always snipe second.
Why is it that everything I own has gone down in value. I'm ok with patch cosmetics decreasing in value over time, but I don't understand how things like my Bill's Hat, Voodoo Juju, etc have gone down in price being the limited items they are. I could have sold out in 2013 and made bank but my backpack has been [del]steadily[/del] sharply decreasing in value since then.
Like, I don't get it? Rarity literally = Value in the steam economy...so...? What? My liquid worth is really fucking low now.
I believe it's because keys are becoming more inflated, but then again it's like 14 ref now so I have no clue.

It's a pity you can't uncrate these new taunts. It's going to be a while before they're cheaper (via trading) than the in-game store.

You know what's amazing to me? Even with another rocket in its clip, the Liberty Launcher is garbage and its rockets are about as damaging as the kiss of a delicate cherub. I tried for hours to make Liberty Launcher/Base Jumper/Market Gardener to work, to little avail, but as soon as I switched it out for the stock launcher I just devastated everything. I think the weapon is doomed to just be terrible forever

make bots strafe randomly and quickly, headshot
you can also use the ramp to practice airshots
My settings (of the graphical variety) keeps resetting back to high, and it's really making just picking up and playing TF2 a pain because despite the fact it's recommended, my computer really can't handle high everything. Anyway to fix it?

Don't do this, the bots' hitboxes on tr_walkway are really messed up.
On another note, now that we can inspect skins in-game and all skins have a slightly different pattern, they should really add the "inspect in game" option for skins on the steam community.
Just like in CS:GO.

Try sticking "-autoconfig" in the launch options. This will reset a bunch of stuff, and it has fixed stuff like that for me. Launch the game, then close it, and remove the "-autoconfig". If you're using a performance config, reinstall that afterwards.

At least it's not pre-nerf LL. Fucking faster rockets with the same amount of damage garbage.
So I bought the Gun Mettle pass since I had so much fun with the CS:GO operations. On my third drop I managed to get a concealed killer case.
The thing just payed for itself GG

Walkway isn't 'broken now', the hitboxes have always been weird. The buttons and stuff don't work at first because they use server commands, which you need to enable with [I]sv_allow_point_servercommand[/I] in the console.

Also, is anybody else's F1 key fucked after this update? I can't vote for any maps that are on the F1 key now, but F2 is fine.

Oh and can't forget the now broken HUD 3D Class images. When you switch weapons the image takes longer to switch. Really noticeable on Degreaser Pyro.
