I know I might be late, but I just found out the "Stat Clocks" on the strange weapon skins are modified "Death Clocks" from expiration date.
Is it me only or the decorated weapons don't show at the loadout? This has been happening for like two days now. Not only that but once you apply one decorated weapon in your loadout, the names on items stop showing.
So I fixed this issue. It appears to be mainly caused by a mod from T.I.P. If you're using that one certain mod by Game Zombie that makes weapons look better on the world model, you better uninstall it. Otherwise you'll not see your decorated skins on your loadout nor any non-valve server as the skins are not compatible with the mod. Other than that, the rest of T.I.P can still be used but not this mod unless it gets updated.
Can't seem to make a functioning autoexec. I'm wanting r_rimlight 0 to automatically execute when I boot up tf2 so I don't have to enter the command every time I play. I've made the config file in the right format and in the right folder renamed it autoexec.cfg and placed inside it r_rimlight 0 I've tried quotation marks around the 0 but it doesn't seem to work, it still defaults back to 1. What am I doing wrong?
How trading in this game works: you shark people or you buy bulk. when selling, people read 2-2.33 at 3. when buying, people read 2.33 as craft hat.
are you sure it's not autoexec.cfg.txt?
positive. I've tried with both a text format and config file format, it's all pretty much perfect but it just doesn't seem to want to work I saw a thing about making an 'exec autoexec' but apparently that puts it in an endless loop and can mess with performance and is generally unneeded Maybe I've messed up the way the files being read? the read-only checkboxes aren't ticked or anything.

Custom configs are treated as mods since steampipe iirc.
did you put it in your 'tf>custom>modname>cfg' folder?
No, I haven't tried that yet but I was told that was also unneeded and it should be in the tf>cfg folder. I'll try it out and edit this post on results Edit: Nope, still defaulting to 1.
Try adding a simple command, to test if the autoexec is the problem?
I tried with mat_phong 0 and that doesn't appear to work either. I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong with the file or with the way I'm entering the text.
post here your cfg files in the

tags. Someone might be able to help troubleshoot the problem.
You can see the filepath and the filetype etc in the screencap. I've tried the tf>cfg filepath too.
did you put it in your 'tf>custom>modname>cfg' folder? Custom configs are treated as mods since steampipe iirc.
Mine are in tf > cfg and they all work. I'm not sure if class cfgs count as custom though. Strange issue Powerglove's having though. Does it bring up any errors in the console or just nothing?

I'm not sure what those other commands that require sv_cheats on are from but they've been there for a very, very long time and I can't seem to spot any errors.
Did you save it as autoexec.cfg.cfg on accident? I don't think the file extension should be showing in the file name.
I deleted the .cfg part from the autoexec.cfg and now it works! Thanks a bunch, I'm not too sure how adding the .cfg extention messed with it though since the other config files are written exactly like it.
Anyone know what the heck is going on with the text on these chalk boards here? [T]http://puu.sh/iRfLb.jpg[/T][T]http://puu.sh/iRfKU.jpg[/T] Ever since the update they've been like this, contract text as well. I removed all custom stuff, deleted the entire Team Fortress 2 folder, reinstalled, and kept all things at default to test and I still get this wonky text. Anyone else having this issue?
Mac problem
Ok, as long as it's something I can't fix, but rather on Valve's side, I won't worry then. Thank you.

I forgot how, but there's a way to do that.
So did the trading thread die out since I cant find it.
Ok, as long as it's something I can't fix, but rather on Valve's side, I won't worry then. Thank you.
Yeah I can confirm it's a Mac problem, 90% of TF2's text is wonky/cut off.

I got my fourth contract just now, so...its out?
I got my fourth contract just now, so...its out?
I think contracts aren't weekly but something like one new one every three days or something. Which is pretty good, especially if they stack. Gives people time to do what they want and do the contract when they feel like it.
There must be a good minimalist HUD other than eveHUD Probably rays, flat or some other shit.
There must be a good minimalist HUD other than eveHUD Probably rays, flat or some other shit.
RaysHUD, ToonHUD are both good HUDs that I've used that have good minimal modes. Also every custom HUD usually has a minimal minimal mode that removes some visual clutter and brings every part of the HUD closer to the center.
Did you save it as autoexec.cfg.cfg on accident? TOOLS>FOLDER OPTIONS>VIEW then scroll down until you find the option.
Who did I kick in the nuts to be given a snow plow contract [editline]8th July 2015[/editline] I get a case and the prices have dropped. My luck with TF2 has always been tainted [editline]8th July 2015[/editline] Listing it back at 9 buck because the drop is probably only temporary
