You can argue about the Enforcer til' the cows come home. About the only thing people can agree on is that the very first version of it was overpowered to hell and back. I just know it works the way I use it. A common scenario for me is when I run around a tight corner while disguised and run headlong into an enemy (almost always a Soldier, Demo or Pyro, for that matter) And after that, the jig is up and I've got about 1 solid second before they start trying to pain the walls with me. Now, I have a way to actually react to them and actually stand some reasonable chance of killing who I shoot at instead of mildly irritating them (which is what happened with the L'Etranger.) And maybe I'm just super amazed by a shot doing more than 15 damage per hit. I also just like the Enforcer for one simple, basic reason: Working reload animations. I've modeled 3 revolvers, it isn't that hard to rig some bullets to actually work properly, and yet out of the six revolver options we have available to us, only two of them bother to have rigged bullets or a speed-loader. It's just a little bit infuriating.
Because I can aim well but I'm not a CS:GO tweaker, so I can't hit 6 at the stock revolver's ROF but I can at the Enforcer's.
Well, I mean, you can still use it the same way you did... just disguised instead of undisguised, and you're doing better on the first shot and worse by the third
As if anyone notices that 20% firing speed reduction Maybe the nerf was a bit too harsh. But honestly, the weapon beforehand was basically a straight upgrade thanks to the fact that people don't just hold down m1 when they use a spy revolver. If you do, you either have perfect aim or are just panicking, in which maybe you'll notice the difference. Otherwise, the weapon as it stands right now really isn't much different than the stock revolver. If Valve increases the damage bonus to 30%, or changes it to a minicrit, fine, it probably deserves it. But it isn't a "garbage weapon" right now unless you hold m1.
No weapon should just be outright more powerful than the stock weapon.
No weapon should just be outright more powerful than the stock weapon.
Basically... "NO GUN SHOULD HAVE ALL DAT POWER" [sp]i just had to,im gonna get a bunch of dumbs i bet[/sp]
Does anyone know or have a link to the props_invader pack I keep seeing plastered all over the Mercs vs Alien mapping contest on tf2maps?
No weapon should just be outright more powerful than the stock weapon.
was it anyway?
Weapon pickup makes playing medic so much more fun now.
Just noticed that my custom hitsound no longer works. Did they change where you have to put the .wav file?
-snip-, problem fixed
Powerhouse Sentry Spots https://imgur.com/a/Dj1G1 A few (probably most) of these require Wrangler usage. One of them is just a sneaky teleporter spot. #1 is probably my favorite since it's easy to set up very early in the round, and helps keep a huge pressure on mid without being too risky a spot to place buildings. #7 is great because edging it will get you caught past those boxes, and I think most would die. Note that I haven't tried most of these, I'm just sort of being analytical about where people would be able to edge a sentry. #7 is probably my favorite since the only entrances to that area are the place you can't edge to, spawn (which will be protected in general), and the stairway to the left. Theoretically the sentry should be able to protect that stairway, but I fear it may be easy to edge with rockets or stickies. Criticism? reposting from mus/stuff that you love
Tf2 crashes on every map load besides the very first one I load. I've got nothing custom installed besides a hud that's never caused issues before, and the crashes started to happen since the last hotfix. I've verified and such to no avail, any suggestions?

Crouch jump from the box onto them, build a dispencer, hop up one level so spys cant get to your sentry, then build a teleporter next to it so you can get up there. Dispenser is in range, and the sentry only has a small blind spot on the far wall.
Oh god Headtaker Strangifier for $80 They need to add more this Halloween, along with Necro Smasher
There was this guy who would not shut up about how TF2's design is so bad that it would never be taken seriously within competitive context. He moaned and groaned about weapons, but then essentially read off a text-book of terms like "triangular design" and how TF2 is terrible for not using them. He kept saying that one term over and over and over again, among a few others, and he talked over anyone that tried to tell him anything different, leading the conversation to be just him and him alone parroting textbook bullshit to the world around him. It was as if he used some shitty dialogue he found on YouTube and played it over his microphone, but he was actually shooting stickies on the wall in certain positions to explain what he meant to one person. It was ridiculous.

So. My friend gave me two cases. Do i open them or sell them.
So. My friend gave me two cases. Do i open them or sell them.
Sell one and use the money to buy a key for the other.

I opened it. I got that shitty green rambo gun for heavy.
was it anyway?
20% bonus damage when not disguised, not only was this a straight upgrade, it condoned Dead ringer spies to run around undisguised.
jeez now tf2 is crashing to desktop on team/class selection as well as on map loads j e e z
20% bonus damage when not disguised, not only was this a straight upgrade, it condoned Dead ringer spies to run around undisguised.
Well I would say: 20% slower firing speed. See how easy that is? You need a deeper analysis on the tradeoffs between ROF and alpha if you want to talk about how the enforcer was or wasn't balanced. Most games, though, equate high DPS to low alpha, and high alpha to low DPS. However, the Enforcer had the same DPS (within a couple damage) as the Revolver with a higher alpha. That's why it was potentially unbalanced. It doesn't allow for any different gameplay, IMO, but it's a mathematical oversight. It needed some kind of quirk to be properly balanced, because alpha isn't always desirable, but when higher alpha is desirable, typically it needs to be reigned in by something else.
Apparently when using the new Eureka effect, you will always get metal from a dispenser, regardless if it's full of not.
At least the big earner is fantastic now [editline]10th July 2015[/editline]
[t]http://www.loc.gov/rr/print/guide/pp9058.jpg[/t] "this picture does not perfectly fit within the rule of thirds and therefore it is a bad picture"
actually i dont like this picture at all I think the depth of field is very poorly done and the orientation feels off to me
nevermind ugh i read the wiki to find out what the train healthbar was for. now the fun part is trying to explain it to pubbers that run around like headless chickens, or even better, don't even speak english.
it seems like a basic attack/defend map with an arbitrary way of keeping time
Anybody has a list for me of must have TF2 mods and console comands to increase perfomance? I'm on a new computer right now and I haven't had the time to download the old maps and stuff I had on my older computer. So far I got only the basic stuff like Mat_phong 0 and mat phong fix mod.
