Unless the item has just released, it's always cheaper to buy keys, then trade them for whatever it is you want.

Also holy fuck the specialist achievement, where you have to get 10000 heals in one life, is hard. You pretty much have to start at the beginning of the round, or else it ends before you've gotten them all. It really is a good way to train medic though. You have to work really hard to stay alive and heal as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, which is really what medic is about.

I still don't have that damn achievement and I play Medic all the time. I think I got to 8000 heals once but never to the full 10K.

The only sort-of reliable way to get 10k heals in one life is to play on a ultra-slatematey chokepoint map like Dustbowl or Gold Rush, preferrably on 24/7 servers with crazy time per map limits. You pretty much need a longer map limit and a predictable map with easily defendable hallways where both teams get stuck in a never-ending bloodbath, then you play it safe, hang at the back, heal the many wounded people spamming into or retreating from the chokes, retreat to your Sentries at the first sign of trouble...
These predictable maps are also pretty safe because there's few or no good flanks or alternative paths where the other team would be able to surprise you and kill you as a Medic.
At least that's how I got mine years ago before I reset the achievements, I think it was some 24/7 instaspawn 32-player Dustbowl hellhole where I just hung back and healed the masses of people running headlong into chokes and dying over and over. In normal, stock-settings 24-player pubs, I've never gone above 8500 healing because you either die eventually or the round ends before you get to 10k.

I got the maddest I've been at a video game for a long while for this one. It got to 4 kills so many times, then suddenly a random DH or demo or sniper I can't do anything about appears. Of course my team doesn't think to help. Then my asshole friend joins and goes spy to hunt me down whenever I think I'm going to make it...
Then one friendly engineer and I set up on the upper level of last on Gorge as BLU, I finally get it.
Everyone's boxing unusuals and i unbox another king of the jungle minigun....again.
Holy dang I am gettin huge fps drops when ever I see a skin, didn't someone make a mod recently to disable them?

Which means that if I change it, all the knives will have the same sound effect. I'd appreciate if you'd help me change the spy-cicle's sound without messing with other knives.

This isn't true though. The minimum depends on which payment processor you use -- but it's basically $2 if PayPal, $2.50 if Stripe (direct credit card). This is the minimum amount that an order can be where we break even on an order due to fees.

I'm not exactly an expert in TF2, or Source in general, modding, but I'm not aware of a way you could change what sound file its looking for.
