Nope, but a Mic would be a good idea in general. Usually we discuss what each one does before we start and then stick to it. Most of the time it works, though success chances increase when there's at least 1 dude with a microphone and willing to use it. In other words, we mostly use chat, and that's when wave intermission is taking place.
Alright, as long as you dudes are willing to have fun (I love trying stuff out in MVM), I'd definitely be willing to play, maybe I could manage to get a friend or two to join as well.

Due to timely concerns, this Mann Up will be skipped to tomorrow.
What game modes do you wish more servers would run?
I never have enough Slender Fortress. Ever.
Alright, since I can't find the FP TF2 Mann Upping thread, I'll ask here. Is anyone interested for some Mann Up? Most I can offer is one ticket, since I got 2, and I have one partner already willing to participate.
I have some tickets and ready to rumbo. Add me
Try this http://www.gamemaps.com/details/1589
Goddammit thanks a lot
I have some tickets and ready to rumbo. Add me
You guys need one more? I'm down for MVM tomorrow night if y'all still playing by then
So how much of this is bullshit? I seem to remember the last one was full of mistakes/assumptions.
-eyelander isnt a default sword -soldier and demo never use those domination lines (they are unused files) -large chunks of these are pure speculation (linking 1850 mercs to anything of significance) -half of the trivia is fairly obvious meh
:snip: Ninja'd
So far the only thing I noticed is that he calls the Eyelander "default"
Brutalmoose calls it the default sword, and technically the Eyelander was the first sword added to the game so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to call it his "default."
Well, what trivia is there? I'm sure there are a lot of people that didn't know even the basic "plot" or that the comics even existed, but what would be some facts that would maybe surprise some of us?
So how much of this is bullshit? I seem to remember there last one was full of mistakes/assumptions.
The first bit of information is in blatant plain-text in the Meet the Director comic, it's later touched upon when Ms. Pauling, Scout, and Soldier go looking for him in A Cold Day in Hell. This bit of trivia is about as hidden as a Spy in the open that's on fire. The Dalokahs = Shokolad has been pretty well-known, but I could imagine people not noticing given how infrequently it is used and that it's not spoonfed as information like the previous bit was. His care of Sasha is made extremely evident in Meet the Heavy and the only "trivia" here is a direct excerpt from Meet the Director with nothing out-of-the-way or hidden involved. These WAR!-related domination lines are actually unused, so there's some merit to this being actual "did you know" trivia. While these are not used, there are still kill-responses used when merely killing the opposing class instead of strictly dominating them. The Half-Zatoichi bit of information is acceptable as trivia, as Zatoichi isn't very well-known and players will rarely piece that together on their own. As is the information on Muramasa. The information on Demoman's jobs and his relation with his mother is plainly given to readers of both the Bombinomicon and WAR! comics. He also goes on to state that "as far as we know this is how he lost his eye" implying that there's room for correction or clarification. During the Halloween event that starred Merasmus, Demoman has a few specific voice lines where he attempts to bargain for his eye. Medic has a few as well, offering to trade for it. Items being of Scottish origin is pretty low-hanging trivia, as it merely requires basic knowledge of Scotland to understand. The Loch-Ness Monster being the most prevalent and makes Nessie's Nine Iron and Loch-n-Load's names evident. While people may not be wary of the Scottish revolts, it's pretty safe to say that anyone who understands any amount of history would be able to piece that bit together given the name "Resistance." The Scottish Handshake makes its own bit of trivia known in its own description, this is incredibly lazy to present as "unknown information." While it was nice to show off some Scout concept art, they present it as if Scout wasn't already baseball-heavy to begin with. Sporting a bat, cap, cleats, socks, and pants already give him a sufficient Baseball-enthusiast visage. Red Socks being a callback to Red Sox is something that's only unknown to people who've never heard of baseball before. Sandman bit of information is acceptable, but underwhelming. Unused and repurposed sounds for the Scattergun and Force-a-Nature is acceptable. Bringing up Engineer as one with a full name when Demoman was first on the block for that. Also they all do have full names, it's just a manner of secrecy that their line of work would keep their full names out of the question. The only people referring to them by name are family or formal business partners, not their brothers in arms. Also, Engineer's name came years after Meet the Engineer was conceived. It's backwards to claim that his name "Conagher" is the reason why his demeanor is so lax and homely. The inverse is true. Presenting plain-text information from the Loose Canon comic as if it's not easy-to-digest content. Eureka Effect's name didn't need explanation as that's rather common knowledge. The information on how it harkens back to the personal teleporter is fine though. Sniper lore being presented in plaintext from a plaintext source. This isn't trivia, this is like reading the news. Spy vs Sniper information regarding his new scar is fine. As is the information regarding Spy's international style. Meet the Medic information is fine here. Meet the Pyro...no one was honestly expecting an identity reveal. The only people who were even close to doing so were in the vocal minority and in some cases where completely off their rockers. Correctly calling out Pyroland as a delusion is good, as many people were prone to jumping to pony-related conclusions because...well let's be honest, people aren't that smart. The hidden tease in the Portal 2 trailer is a fair bit of trivia to include. Overall, they need to stop going for obvious things or things that are presented as if they're literally just reading the comics as if no one else has the brain capacity to read on their own.
Well, on a another topic here since I have no idea where to post this oddity, I went to the steam market, and noticed the Pro Killstreak Fortified Compound was rather cheap, $5.98 compared to its normal $9-11 price point. However, no effects were listed. it just said "Killstreaks active". So I bought it and took a gamble. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/702910294862006265/3954773C70D139082BF79D6E49781E3045BB9711/[/t] Here it is in my backpack, still no effects listed. So I went on a PPM trade server and used the !kson command, which I've used for my other pro-killstreaks, but nothing happened. This weapon doesn't even have a sheen in the first place, without any kills. Yet it's apparently a pro killstreak.....what the heck did I just buy? Is this some sort of glitched item?

For example, my HOUWAR has a Specialised Killstreak attached.
I am gonna go against every single one of my beliefes and unbox one of those cases. Gonna cry my eyes later. [editline]19th July 2015[/editline] FT Low Profile SMG with ST. Aight, could've been worse.
Anyone know where the sound file is that plays at the beginning/end of Snowplow rounds?
no because it doesn't exist in our files I wanted to use the swordvan but the community map content is locked/hidden
I couldn't pakrat it out either

Devoted fans of any other franchise probably know most or all the trivia of the franchise DYKG is covering. For people who aren't familiar this is a great video to at least get them curious about the lore and maybe they'd look over the comics now.
No idea why, I was holding it to post it here until now but I had nothing else to do and I was listening to some music until "Bleed it out" made by Linkin Park came up and I happened to just learn the lyrics and made it me to think how this is related to the map cp_dustbowl. Anyway for boredom I've made up a parody of that song by editing a few words and made up a few from scratch to go along with the rhythm from the original song. How rare is the odds of unboxing a strange Kritzkrieg from Mann Co. Supply Munition Series #92? Is it worth unboxing for?
How rare is the odds of unboxing a strange Kritzkrieg from Mann Co. Supply Munition Series #92? Is it worth unboxing for?
i unboxed one and it's a rare unbox [editline]19th July 2015[/editline] i also unboxed strange awper hand so don't have much to say
How rare is the odds of unboxing a strange Kritzkrieg from Mann Co. Supply Munition Series #92? Is it worth unboxing for?
Wiki reports ~1% chance, along side the Righteous Bison Strangifier.
Even when it's still rare, it dropped 10 keys. [sp]i own one when they spawned[/sp]

Alright, I'm starting Mann Up with Spython now. Add me on Steam and I'll get you in our team. If you wish to of course.

The first one I unboxed a Commando Woodland Warrior Strange Rocket Launcher. The second one was a Night Owl. The third one was a Night Owl. The fourth one was a Night Owl. Owwwl.
