So I want to have a collectors strange weapon, however there exists no strangifiers for it. Should I buy a collectors and hope for there to be a strangifier for it in the future?

Which weapon is it? One that already has a Strange version (but as a separate item from uncrating, not a Strangifier) or one that hasn't, i.e. most of the 2014 weapon additions?
I very much doubt they'll ever release Strangifiers for weapons that already have a Strange version in the future. So getting a non-strange Collector's is a bit of a dead alley for your wishes, I'd say.
In fact, even when it seemed they were fully switching over to Strangifiers-only for all the remaining weapons, even non-Grordbort's ones, they went back to Strange weapons as separate items in most of the recent crates. It's very likely the Strange Back Scatter, Tide Turner, Quickie Launcher, Iron Bomber and so on will be available only as separate items instead of Strangifiers once they're released.
If it's one of last year's weapons you have in mind, I'd rather hold off buying the Collector's variant untill they release a Strange version of it to see if it has a Strangifier.

I highly doubt you'll ever see a Strangifier released for it, stand-alone Strange versions are numerous, available in non-rare crates, and not very expensive. Even if they ever re-release it, it seems that with recent crates ((#90 and #92), they've gone back to stand-alone strange items instead of Strangifiers for all weapons but Grordbort's ones.
If it was one of the 2014 weapons that still don't have a strange variant, I'd hold on to hope that they'll come in the form of a Strangifier, but with the LL, I very much doubt it.
Buying a Collector's (unless it'd be more important than a regular Strange variant to you) at this point would be a mistake, with only a slim hope they'll somehow do a U-turn in the future and re-release a bunch of old stranges in the form of Strangifiers.

I apogolize for not pointing out what i am trying to say properly, i meant that i am going to sell them. But seeing them in my backpack makes me want to unbox cases.
so this is an issue I'm sure others have had, but I can't connect to luxembourg valve servers for some reason

The 'fix' that helps some players (myself included) is to set your server browser pings per minute setting (in Steam's settings) to a very, very low number (250 or 500 per minute). 1000 or above and I get ''error' messages again from Luxembourg ones. Normally, I've been using 3000 or more for years.
Problem is, at those very low settings, refreshing even your Favorites list or creating a list of servers in QP to choose from takes a long time, not to mention generating a full 3000+ server list in the regular browser.
Also, the solution doesn't help many people with the same problem. I think it's quite ridiculous that people have been complaining and notifying them about some server locations (primarily Luxembourg and Virginia) being inaccessible for many players for months. Their server farms are screwed up or something's wrong with their settings, I alone have sent 3 emails to the TF Team about the matter, I reckon they must've received hundreds of complaints up to now.
A popular multiplayer game really shouldn't be able to get away with many of its own official servers refusing connection attempts from players for months.
I live in Sweden and for me Stockholm servers never appear in the server list, only Luxemburg and Washington.

Just spent the last 15 minutes buying Strange Minimal Wear Lightning Bolt shotguns (because Factory New is are just too expensive at the moment), just to get scratches which don't look horrendous. Finally found one which has scratches on the handle which you don't really see, while my first shotgun had scratches all over the barrel which looked horrendous (it'd be great if the preview image for each item on the market was the actual weapon you're hovering over, and not the image of the cheapest item).
Hopefully people buy my 'excess' shotguns otherwise I'm stuck with badly worn shotguns :worried:

God damn I can't fucking play TF2 anymore. I just have these constant lag spikes that last 2-3 seconds no matter what server I go to.
It doesn't happen in any other game that I play either, I have no clue what the problem is.
