Oh god, don't even remind me about that. It was horrible, not even close to TF2.

That exact same voice line is in TF2 - done by the proper voice actor. How hard would it have been to just rip it from TF2?
This update is great, but it released one mission in to our MvM fest, we'd just bought a load of tickets and some guy is one wave away from completion but the servers are all down :v:
So I'm about to buy a FT Strange Night Owl when Steam stops shitting the bed and I plan on applying a killstreak kit to it.
Should I go:
Agree: Deadly Daffodil
Disagree: Team Shine
Funny: It would be better without a sheen, go regular killstreak.
Totenkruz also said Manndarin so rate Winner for that I guess.
okay fuck it then Zing for Green
Imformative for Emerald
Hearts for Pank
Wrenches for Purple
manndarin it is then
Manndarin is my favorite sheen, so gonna go with that.
I like violet on dark weapons.
Thought I would test my luck with a trade up contract because all of the gun mettle cases I unboxed got me flamethowers.
Got a WW smg. Oh well. at least it net me about a 10c profit when it sells
We got a Medic armor vest now
:snip:

The VA has such a strong spanish accent i'm left wondering what kind of casting was made for this.

remember they used the Beta spy model for the game, wich means either that line is so old its was not even part of the game's beta, or they sent a placeholder and never changed it back. same goes for heavy and pyro.
For fucks sake Valve, apparently adding £4 to my steam account a few times over the past few days to buy MvM tickets (I didn't know how much I'd need at the time) is "suspicious" and I can't use the market for a week
I'm all for security but this is a complete asshat move, I can't even verify my account because they way they do that is through two small pending transactions, and my online banking is terrible and doesn't show pending transactions because they're "too confusing for users" (cp_snowplow joke anybody)

It's not an asshat move, it's that they have absolutely no idea who can be trusted and who can't.
Fraud fucking SUCKS, man.
It happened to me too about a week ago (still probably going on right now), which got me confused. I thought Mann Co Store was down, until it kept up, to which I thought the bank suspended my account or something. The best you can do is wait, cuz telling Valve isn't gonna be an instant result and might take more than a week.

fraud sucks but I don't think adding £4 to my account two or three times should lock me out the market for a week
I only managed to unlock the market again after phoning up my bank for half an hour to find out the two transactions

The system isn't an asshat move, I'm glad of having 2 step verification for things like trades, the asshat move is how valve consider adding £8 to my steam account over the course of 2 days a suspicious move

Speaking as someone who has to fight fraud the system that marked that as suspicious was doing it because that IS a sign of fraud, and you're unfortunately a false positive.
After a couple months, I've finished up my Collector's Air Strike and tossed on a pro ks and a strangifier. Glad I got it before it was buffed, it's value shot up a bit.
Either way, the security precautions are slowly piling up to a point where they're a real damn inconvenience to trading and now even spending real money on in-game items for all legit users.
I still say the biggest BS is that if you regularly clear your cookies (which I do), the system doesn't remember your PC's browser every time you try and log into a trade site through a normal web browser - it labels it as a new device and wants to instate the 1 week trade ban.
For the past 6+ months, to be able to trade at all I've had to log into trade sites through Steam's slow-ass, crappy, unresponsive and crude built-in browser, either in Big Picture mode or through the Web Browser option in Steam Overlay. Big Picture's browser is also currently bugged and zoomed in far too much for me, so you only see a portion of a webpage with no ability to zoom out more.
The freakin' Steam Overlay browser is right now the only way for me to log into a trade site and trade normally.
And I really don't feel like not clearing my cookies at least semi-regularly just for that. A wonderful example of Valve's security changes making trading much, much more difficult for me.

I'm not being snarky or anything here, I genuinely don't understand how adding £4 to my account a few times is marked as fraud
How could that be malicious?

Not sure if unrelated, but a lot of fraudsters who use stolen credit/debit cards, make a lot of small transactions to "test the water" to see if you and the bank notice, before clearing your account out.
My dad ages back had his debit card skimmed (being completely oblivious as always). They donated £3 to Oxfam twice (over a period of a month) before buying £3200 worth of Jewellry in London (We're from Edinburgh so there's quite a large gap in distance). He phoned up the bank to get a refund (which he did get) and it seems it's a pretty common practice; make a few small transactions to make the bank (and owner of said card) think it's fine and to check to see if the card is still active (make the bank think it's a holiday in London - that sort of thing. Trying to hide the fact it's a very large distance away from where transactions normally take place) before going all out and leaving no trace (which almost always never works).
You triggered the system because you showed the same behaviour as someone 'testing the water' to see if anyone would notice small transactions (and to check if the card was still activated).
-Updated the The Crosslinker's Coil, The Br tal Bouffant, and The Wilson Weave to add a 'No Headphones' style
What I learned from my previous emails and what has just been confirmed is that if you want something from TF Team/Eric, the best time to send them an email is not later than a day after a new update is relased.
I checked my backpack and wondered how many crates i have.
I have 171 crates, which 29 of them cannot be opened anymore.
Or basically 4 pages of them.

I suppose that makes sense
I just wanted to buy MvM tickets as/when I needed them at a lan party :unimpressed:

You wanna go feed the Scrap.TF Incinerator bot? I'm sure he won't run from you and all dem crates in terror.

Where can you check the number of items there are?
I seem to remember there being a page on backpack.tf where you could do it.

I think I found it: stats.tf
I have 245 crates. Go beat that.
Your crate game is strong, but I used to have 300+ on my alt account.
there should be a 'collector's crate'; collect 100 of a single crate series for an extra 1% chance of uncrating an unusual (100 x $.03 off the market is a bit more than a key, so the price of doing it evens out). This would theoretically make crate prices go up, at least for series 1 crates
I gotta give valve props for the new cosmetic crate, almost every single item is desirable for me.

I got the one item I don't want
the Engineer vest thing

That's my most wanted item so far.
Hit me up with a trade.
