I can't get enough of Zhanna and Soldier. Best team ever.
whats with everyone using | trade.tf next to their names?
whats with everyone using | trade.tf next to their names?
Gives you a free premium on trade.tf or something to that effect.
Gives you a free premium on trade.tf or something to that effect.
Pretty clever imo
Add it to your name, trade, remove it from your name.
Pretty clever imo
Well... Can't say it's not clever. I wouldn't sell my soul like that though. [editline]1st September 2015[/editline]
Add it to your name, trade, remove it from your name.
I don't know what the premium does on trade.tf but it probably wouldn't be worth it if you plan on not using it very often. [editline]1st September 2015[/editline] I mean, flashfire is right, whoever thought it up is clever. Probably clever enough to figure somebody would want to pull something of that sort.
it's essentially free advertising People see the name, people ask about the name, people use the name, rinse and repeat
at least its not own.
Gives you a free premium on trade.tf or something to that effect.
Best part is you just need to have "trade.tf" in your name, not at the end like that So a user named "trade.tf is cancer" would have free premium
Well negative advertising is also advertising.
whats with everyone using | trade.tf next to their names?
It gives you premium, which allows you to have a bunch of "alert bots" that tell you when an item you are hunting down is on outpost, backpack, bazaar. For example, one of the alert bots can be set to a craft number, say #24. That bot alerts you when any #24 item is listed on any TF trading website and sends you a direct link to the listing. It's mainly useful for craft numbers, or if you're hunting down a rare Halloween item or say a specific painted item
not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know how to script a key to turn custom models on and off? sv_pure is getting on my nerved ; ;
not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know how to script a key to turn custom models on and off? sv_pure is getting on my nerved ; ;
You can't do that.
One day I'm gonna add 5 € to my Steam wallet just to buy five different map stamps. I feel guilty 'cause there are so many community-made maps in the game that I like but the only map stamp I've got is for freakin' Turbine.
So with the advent of DOTA 2 TI5 items, i managed to sell something that was i guess to be really damn rare, since it net me $70 alone. With those funds, i'm planning to get the banana hat, so i don't have to play the damn slots with unboxing the damn thing. Should i wait out a possible price drop? Because it feels like the price will only go UP.
and another 7 year wait for the next part of the comic
Right now the prices are so incosistent. El Duderino was between 6\7€ now it's 9€? The Cosmetic Case don't want to drop that much, damn, got myself 10 keys.
We're also shipping the Gun Mettle Cosmetic Case, an exclusive community cosmetic item collection now available as a weekly random drop for folks who own a Gun Mettle Campaign Coin.
Do you guys think 'weekly' in this case means Coin owners are guaranteed to get one every week until the end of the event, or does it just mean it's part of the drop system that gives players items every week? We'll see in the coming weeks, I kinda feel like they introduced a new Case just to make buying a Campaing Pass this late into the event a bit more appealing. Technically, if you got lucky with a case drop in the first 2 days, you could again make back 3+ euros/dollars selling it on the Market...

It'll go down until Gun Mettle ends, or maybe slightly before if there's a scramble to get them while they're cheaper. They might still go lower while people open the leftover crates. You're safe until the end of September, anyway.
Ok, you get at least one Cosmetic Case per week as a drop for people that owns the Campaign.
I know it's not much, but look what I just achieved! I've played this game since like 2011, and recently with the gun mettle update i've gotten into it again. Some stats: 9 stranges (Shiv, Lib launcher, Direct hit, Rocket launch, FaN, Market gardener, homewrecker, sniper rifle, and Persian persuader) 2 commando grade skins 2 mercenary A bunch of lower grade skins 0 unusuals Countless refined that have come and gone 1 mvm ticket used 10+ hats I'd say it's not bad for someone who's casually played these past years

I ended up selling it for a few steam games and DLC. Trust me unusuals are cool but overrated
only unusual i ever got was when i casually unboxed it during one of many mvm rounds not a week until i sold it and bought a bunch of games with the money only reason i even buy keys is to get the total checkout price a little over 5€ when buying tickets

Back when the Fast Learner came out I was young and really stupid. Some guy asked for it and for some reason I gave it to him. I don't even remember what I got in return. R.I.P fast learner ;(
I'm pretty sure we've all done stupid shit lol when crates first came out I traded a Heavy Duty Rag for 4 crates. I didn't really know that you needed to buy a key to open them. :frown:

R.I.P fast learner ;(
Reminds me of the time I got a Holiday Headcase from Steam's christmas event and sold it for 4 refined because it was "ugly". Current price is 32 dollars and before key prices started rising like hell it was around 4 buds. At least I got the Headcase for free so I didn't lose anything. Kinda. :suicide:
I got a pro sticky fab kit on my 2nd or 3rd tour after two cities came out and traded it to someone I finished the tour with for a strange rocket launcher. Don't really regret it since still have the rocket launcher but I could have gotten so much more.
Right after I got premium I got 2 orange paint cans from a random drop. I traded them for the cheapest stranges there were... Also, a guy asked me to buy him a gold paint from the Mann Co store. He gave me Soldier's Stash for it (back then it was worth 1.33 ref)...
Fooling someone to gain virtual currency in a game is kinda... pathetic.
Fooling someone to gain virtual currency in a game is kinda... pathetic.
If it was purely virtual, yes. But TF2 items have value that can be converted into "real life money"
