I think its always been baned because it makes baddies mad so they spammed the admins to ban it in season X or w/e
If it was for Soldier or some other class that didn't carry such a stigma they wouldn't feel the need to gimp their already limited loadout options.
TL;DR a comp Demos loadout is either stock and stock or loose cannon (rofl)

I remember on an old jailbreak server I used to go on from time to time (closed down unfortunately) they had to ban the Loch n Load because it would crash the server.

It's been banned in 6s since release because if could one-shot half the team, and allowed in Highlander until the recent change but nobody used it because rollers were superior.
I really REALLY need to have this fucking 1-week restriction removed.

I understand that Dota 2 makes Valve more money right now, but TF2 would be just as popular and successful if it was actually given attention.
It might seem childish and immature, but it seems the only way for valve to pay attention to anything is if we spam "volvo pls" all over the place.
