Plr_ Type maps as far as I know don't have time limits. The game only ends when one of the teams drops the bomb.
I know that Nightfall does. When the timer runs out each cart starts inching forwards on its own, so assuming nobody touches the cart whoever was ahead wins.

Notice that it's slightly broken and the healing beam doesn't show at all I took some time to redo the whole thing, though: I also discovered that the Caduceus from the Medieval Update doesn't work anymore: I demand a remake with a proper backpack
I think I'm finally starting to get back into TF2. I played on a couple Valve servers with a friend, than joined into the TF2Maps server and we played for a couple hours.
So somehow tauting while teleporting raised my FOV by a fuckton for one life and I kinda liked it. How exactly do I raise my FOV beyond the regular 90.
So somehow tauting while teleporting raised my FOV by a fuckton for one life and I kinda liked it. Extending it further required a plugin that will probably get you VAC banned, the most famous being OpenPlugin.

How exactly do I raise my FOV beyond the regular 90.
This has happened to me before too. seems to be a bug, don't think it's easily replicatable, always seems to be random occurence. It's probably something along the lines of your taunt ending right as you teleport, causing the FOV to stay at it when teleporting (i believe FOV quickly goes up as you teleport and goes down as you finish) and since your taunt finish changes your POV it just locks the FOV at where it was when you changed pov This is an educated guess with no testing but yeah
Does anyone think Disciplinary Action > Escape Plan? Apparently the Disciplinary Action has a 70% higher range, even more than the Eyelander, this true?
;47234908']Does anyone think Disciplinary Action > Escape Plan? Apparently the Disciplinary Action has a 70% higher range, even more than the Eyelander, this true?
I wouldnt put it on par with eyelander. It's 70% longer than most melees, which is slightly more than eyelander. but the damage cut makes it much more of a last resort Whip is good for round starts and rollouts but it doesnt mean as much after your first death, where i tend to go back to EP
If you mean actual FoV, the cap is 90. Extending it further required a plugin that will probably get you VAC banned, the most famous being OpenPlugin.
Bug also happens if you're scoped in and taunt at just the right time, except in reverse relative to your fov problem: it forces you into the scoped FOV, minus the scoped attributes (slow movement, headshots) it's annoying but fun if you're using smg i've done it twice by taunting literally right after i got a scoped in kill
I crafted an achievement item into a metal and now the metal is marked untradable, how do I fix? Also MVM spammed the shit out of my backpack with robot parts, no wonder I ran out of spaces so quickly. That and the game 'stacks' all your items for you so you don't know exactly how much piling up you have until you go look in the crafting menu and see you have 4 Steaks and 3 Natasha's and etc.
I crafted an achievement item into a metal and now the metal is marked untradable, how do I fix?
Can't. Once untradable, always untradable, unless you gift wrap it.
I crafted an achievement item into a metal and now the metal is marked untradable, how do I fix?.
Unless you plan on using that untrade metal to craft say untradable hats or something (IIRC there was someone on here who had an untradable hat collection) then it's best you just delete it, or you might accidentally use it to make a reclaimed, then a refined.
I wouldnt put it on par with eyelander. It's 70% longer than most melees, which is slightly more than eyelander. but the damage cut makes it much more of a last resort
hitting for 45 is better than 0 and the random crit still pretty much 1shots everything
Can't. Once untradable, always untradable, unless you gift wrap it.
Sounds like they should probably fix that, but the fact that it isn't fixed by now tells me they don't give a shit. [editline]1st March 2015[/editline]
;47235104']Unless you plan on using that untrade metal to craft say untradable hats or something (IIRC there was someone on here who had an untradable hat collection) then it's best you just delete it, or you might accidentally use it to make a reclaimed, then a refined.
It's already a reclaimed because I didn't fully understand the new crafting system, it's set up differently than it was when it was introduced. All of my items are also from an era when hats were the most valuable item in the game. In other words all my stuff is worthless :v:
Sounds like they should probably fix that, but the fact that it isn't fixed by now tells me they don't give a shit.
But it's not broken. There's even a warning box that pops up when you try to craft it.
also unlike the eyelander, you can actually hit people right behind you. killing an spy this way is radically cool.
I personally find the Disciplinary Action the best melee for soldier, and IMO the best conceptual weapon in the game. It has offensive potential, with the range letting Soldier to keep his ground in melee fights and stay out of the opponents range while still dealing damage. The damage penalty is made up for fully by the insane amount of crits the thing gets. More importantly though is how it does so while providing useful team support at the same time. At the beginning of a round you can push engies to the front lines so they can have stronger bases, Heavies to mow down scouts, etc.. There's not a single unlockable that can do both offensive and support well like the DA can. It's also the only collectors weapon I own. Now if only the miracle range actually worked on allies correctly.
-snip-
Regarding untradable metal - I suggest keeping it for the purpose of crafting potential new weapons in the upcoming updates - unless you have a ton of metal lying around and don't care about deleting it. We've just had 3 new weapons in the last update and 5 more in the Love & War update, it's quite possible we'll get more in the future. And unless you're really lucky with the drop system, newly released weapons are often cheaper to craft yourself than to trade for in the first few weeks after their release. I used up 2 of my untradable Scrap to make an untradable Quickie Launcher right after the Smissmas update, for example. Was way cheaper than if I had been forced to trade for it in the first few days. And since Valve are switching over to a system of Strangifiers (mostly, dunno what's up with the S. Awper Hand and Winger being separate items, though, seems backwards), I'll likely be able to strangify the QBL in the future if I feel like it. [editline]1st March 2015[/editline] Also, the other day I was sure that the viewmodels of Demoman's shields were suddenly broken as they appeared waaaaaay too big, blurry and zoomed in, and Demo's left arm was nowhere to be seen even on max viewmodel fov. Was even taking screenshots ready to post about it on forums and emailing Valve about it. Then I realized it was the Persian Persuader (which I pretty much never use) that changes the perspective of how shield viewmodels are held and displayed, since it's a one-hander whereas all other swords and axes are two-handed  And the shield viewmodels are indeed reaaaally ugly when used with the Persuader, even at max FoV. Especially the Tide Turner, yuck. I really don't know if I should use the Backburner or the stock flamethrower One one hand, the bb does wonders if you catch enemies unaware or ambush them, but it's very situational and hard to pull off on several maps. The increased airblast cost is also a severe handicup for me (I'm a compulsive airblaster) Maybe I should return to the degreaser
Which sm plugin would be the best to block meme faces server-side? [editline]1st March 2015[/editline] Found something, this looks good

Does anyone know any console commands that removes the timer of the round on listen servers? I want to practice some jumps in Upward and Badwater but the round ending keeps getting in the way.

I feel like moving all my items back from my account back onto my brothers just so I don't have to switch accounts to play TF2. If you are wondering why we have 2 accounts, we shared his for a long time and he said he was gonna get a new PC "soon" back in june of 2014 so I moved all my items onto my account that we made, considering now he's been pre-occupied with Xbox/Playstation and hasn't been interested in getting a new pc, I don't see the reason to keep going on my account until he decides to get a new pc. The main reason I play on his account is that we have the most games on his, plus it's the name most people know us as. (Spydurr) [sp] plus I bet if I try to go onto a trading website on my account I'll get both accounts banned for counting as alt accounts and I don't want that. [/sp]

So I found a new spot to stand on in DeGroot Keep's valley. [editline]1st March 2015[/editline] If you're careful.
