Just remove all of pyro's weapons except for the Stock Shotgun
I think the backburner should be mini crits, not crits.
I dunno, I've always thought it was the fault of the person being attack for not checking their flank every once in a while.
Remove every class except Medic
dont know if im late but
Remove every class except Medic
Just remove all classes and replace them with civilian. That definitely won't be confusing for new players.

New update idea!
"The confusing update!"
"Confused about we have done for this update? So are we!"
the backburner's crits are already unreliable because the crit area is so narrow
do you really want to make them even worse?
My problem is when they do show up and the crits do work, it's almost instantaneous death with no way to react in time. I'd say widen the angle and make them mini-crits. That way it still rewards smart flanking, and if anything would make it even more powerful than it is, but it's more reliable in its function.
the gap between standard flames and minicrit flames damage is small.
all it would reward is a warning for the other guy to turn around and put a 105.

Backburner crits are a much slower, less reliable backstab, on a class with more health and a shotgun, but no stealth tools whatsoever. It's quite balanced, really.
This is the kind of balancing that killed the Cleaner's Carbine for me. 3 seconds of crits wasn't a long time and couldn't always be counted on, but 3 unreliable seconds of UNLIMITED POWER was more fun than 8 seconds of only-slightly-more-powerful minicrits.
Oh cool, thanks. Just a shame that I have no idea what I am suppose to do with it :/
Download VTFEdit and export the stickybomb VMT/VTF file from the VPK using GCFScape.
Open the VMT using VTFEdit and paste in the code given to you in the previous page.
Save the file and create the same directory structure as the file was originally in the VPK. I.E. Make a folder called Materials > a sub folder inside that folder called Models etc (create the exact hierarchy you saw in GCFScape otherwise the game won't load it) and put both the VTF and edited VMT in there.
Create a folder in your TF/Custom folder and name it whatever you want (glowlessSticky for example) and put the folder structure you made in there.
The game should load it like any other mod and it *should* work.

VMTs are just text files using C++ heading. You could open it with any old text editing software. (That Supports C++, like Notepad++ for example.)

Your POV doesn't take into account that the crits are triggered by attacking an enemy from behind and as a Pyro, if even one enemy player catches me off guard (like when I try to pull off said critics), chances are I'll be dead

I've programmed with C++ in the past and I've never noticed that (although, how often do you delve into VMTs?).
The more you know...

It becomes 8 seconds of unlimited power with the Bushwacka.

yeah we already had the jarate for that
crit noscopes were fucking amazing and valve are idiots for "rebalancing" something nobody ever complained about.

At this point in TF2's life I think the majority of us have stopped trading altogether. Once I look nice I don't need to try and make money in a crashing economy.
its not that people stopped trading.
its that DAILY NEWS ABOUT KEY PRICES are irrelevant to everyone.
Keys will always be $2.49 no matter what

Except in Canadian dollars as of a few months ago...

Where's the "patriotic" rating?

Speaking of which, out of interest - anyone know how much the cheapest (USD to that currency) keys are in the store?
Or for that matter, the most expensive. Before the Ruble crashed, I assumed they got the best deal of the lot (when converting to USD).
oh my shitting fuck I forgot to end that rail spikes raffle!!!!! :(

So close!
Does anyone else fucking hate the "No spawn camping!" rule?
I mean, let's skip the rant on normal maps .. but I was on a 24/7 2Fort server where they had this.
Like on 2Fort it's almost impossible to tell who's spawn camping unless all you see is a demo spamming stickies at the door or you see the same soldier hanging around the door.
Other than that, you're most likely just passing by as people walk out.
A whole server turned against me, shit talking me cause a guy accused me of spawn camping.
>Rocket jump to battlements to kill two snipers
>Get one
>One escapes into spawn but still walks back and forth to still try to pick me off
>Therefore I stay and confront the battle
>Some random walks out and they both charge at me
>I kill them
>That random who walked out accuses me of camping
I stated I wasn't camping but it started a shitstorm anyway.

Your first problem is that you're playing 2fort. Your second problem is that it is a 24/7 server.
Seriously though, 2fort is just a godawfully designed map. Can't be helped about the camping.
My opinion is that if you're getting spawncamped your team most probably deserve it. I mean is not like I can switch to heavy or anything.
I know nobody cares about this, but jesus, this is clearly price manipulation:
