Well they're dumb
The new power up with the Pyro rake is the most fun I've had with this game in a while.
I'm sure that somewhere, on some server, some trader is ranting about buying an $80 strange a day before the new crate was released.
Not only that, my internet went down to 50kb/s

Inversely, you have this:

You wouldn't believe how silly my little celebration dance was when I woke up the next day and saw the price almost triple what it was when I got it.

Sold my buds. There weren't any keys left.
I joined one of Star's servers today and proceeded to get completely destroyed. I've been thinking about trying out competitive TF2 but things like that give perspective, maybe I'm not cut out for it? Whenever I find myself in a rare server where there is a sea of unusuals running around I usually find myself dead before I know what hit me, so it's fairly intimidating.

you were in a pub full of good players. it's not much of a good measure of skill since teammates have no reason to work with you and you're more likely to be caught alone
go try lobbies or some sort of organized pub where your team is communicating with you.

You know Plat/Open-level competitive players are on that server most of the time, right?

Really? I find that server incredibly easy and I get 120 ping
Is it normal that chat messages doesn't always get printed on the client? Sometimes I don't notice specific persons but later when I look at the gameme chat log, I see that people were trying to chat with me.

I'm feeling hilarious. Hilarious pill if you catch my cold.
God damn I just bought a Strange Festive Wrangler. Think it's worth trying to sell right now and get a normal S. one when the price of those drops?
I would say keep the Festive. Normal S.Wranglers will influence the price, no doubt about it but the Festive, unlike the normal one, is limited (and looks better) so will hold it's price better.
It's like a S.F Sticky Bomb Vs a S. Sticky Bomb. The price was hit a bit, but the S.Festive was still worth a lot more.
I just want a cheap strange gunslinger. My mini-skilltries get so many more kills than my shotgun just because they finish people off so often.

You know Flares that Care? Someone did some searching and found out it might be a scam, and after the thread was posted FTC was cancelled
Tomorrow is the second Flares that Care fundraising livestream. This event, whose stated goal is to hold quarterly fundraisers to benefit the Child’s Play charity, could become a shining example of the competitive Team Fortress 2 community’s generous spirit.
Or it could be a TF2 item and/or monetary scam which has the additional benefit of raising money for Child’s Play.
I have no way of knowing for sure the motivations of those leading this event. The more I’ve looked into the people who are heading Flares that Care (FTC), however, the more I’m inclined to think the second option could be the truth. I first became concerned about FTC after I read the top comment on this reddit post, where someone questioned FTC having a Valve trade-ban scammer (Plotchy) as an admin. The co-founder and lead spokesman for FTC, Snoven, replied: “Plotchy may have had bad rep for previous scams he's done, or ones he still does, however, he's still a valued member of our team.” Needless to say, Snoven’s reply sounded alarm bells for me. Why would a group which is asking people to donate money and items (in addition to time and effort) not be concerned about being involved with a known scammer? The “or ones he still does”, especially worried me, as it implied that the head of FTC was okay if a member of their admin team was currently in the process of scamming TF2 community members. Beyond the moral and ethical reasons for why condoning something like that is a no-no, wouldn’t FTC be worried about how actions like this could impact their reputation?
The guy's trying to run a charity event before he can even run his own life.
I'm thinking about making a huge hat raffle like Rude McRude used to do because my backpack is overflowing with refined and I need something to do it.
How can I host a big raffle like that without people instantly accusing me of trying to scam them? :v:
Apparently I'm banned from all Skial servers.
I don't have the slightest idea why, I can't even remember the last time I joined one. Oh well.

you could always just make it a private raffle on tf2r or scrap.tf then link it on FP

Have you tried validating the cache or whatever? I had a bug similar to that in all of my valve games, ultimately that fixed it.
I was under the assumption that valve fixed the crashes relating to disappearing players and map props.
But now it's back at full force.
