Oh god I'm loving the new Skullcutter.
Pretty okay as a demoknight weapon, but godlike as a demoman weapon.
Currency conversion. What might appear as more expensive in $ may be cheaper in €.
Also, sales tax in some areas can make it cheaper to buy off the market.
I played a 40 minute game of Badwater where one guy spent the whole of the map trying to get a kid to enable console then type unbindall.

Now that I think about it. Is there even a downside to skullcutter on a stickydemo anymore? You aren't gonna pull it out unless the enemy is already in melee range. I can only see the speed penalty being an actual downside if you run out of ammo but that doesn't happen very often for a stickydemo.
Seems like a straight upgrade to bottle.

Just slap a "No Random crits" tag, Valve style.
(To be fair, melee weapons do rely a lot on random crits)

Fucking with your movement speed when you're trying to hit somebody with melee makes a pretty big difference. Melee is all about timing your movement and swings, so if you're going slower when you've got it out, the other person can exploit that pretty easily.

Why are people so dumb
Now, which one should I buy:
- BLU Pyro
- BLU Soldier
- BLU Demoman
- or RED Soldier?
Whichever you like best. What a pointless question.
Some comic book/collectable store has some TF2 toys in stock. Each cost $25, so I'm on a budget here.

i think i mentioned this elsewhere but i urge you to buy the blu soldier, pyro and demo are series 1 and everything i've heard about them is terrible (i.e. they can't stand up or hold weapons properly), red soldier is nice but blu soldier is the newer out of all 4, but in the end it's your decision.

I have all the blus and have found the soldier to be the worst. The joints were stupefyingly stiff, like a couple wrist joints flat out wouldn't budge.

If you are in a situation, where the only way you can survive is by landing a melee hit, and the skullcutter's reach just isn't enough then there is a big chance that the bottle won't save you either.

Like I said earlier in another thread. NECA figures have good detail and such, put their joints are always stiff. I'd suggest either boiling the figure for about a minute or washing it with soap and hot water to loosen the joints.
Speaking of the figures, has there been any word on new releases? I'm still waiting on Blu Engie and Spy, and am slowly losing hope of the line being continued.

I had the Soldier once.
His joints were soo stiff that his arm friggen broke off the moment I opened the box.

i refused to buy spy because of this, hoping it'll be fixed in blu, and it isn't just this one as well... i mean, yeah, obviously spy does have this in game but it isnt nearly as noticeable
NECA Figures are literal ass. Terrible details and articulation. My Soldier has stage 500 arthritis and the bottom of his coat is brown while the top is red. If you're buying them for the genuine versions of the hats, just search really quick on Outpost or bp.tf, they have plenty of sellers.
If you're so inclined, save your cash and buy some Figmas or Nendoroids.

You can also buy the genuine version of the hats on the steam market as well.

That can be fixed with a bit of repainting. Their Predator and Alien lines are top notch.
that one "fix" they made for the NECA spy figure where you slap a disguise mask on his face is a nice way to bypass that ugly paintjob.
shame there is no way to hide the hideous diaper articulation though.

This loadout blows, i can't imagine how anybody would manage to get anything done with it.

egypt being a nice map to play as defense heavy, on a valve server.
people literally walks into your crosshair
You really didn't prove anything by being on a valve server
You really didn't prove anything by being on a valve server
you didnt prove anything by playing on the perfect example of a regular tf2 server
alright yeah
It proves nothing in terms of a competitive match, which i don't participate in. So it shows plenty to a person who majorly plays public servers.

Yeah but I mean... not to toot my own horn, but I do that normally with any class if the conditions are right. It just shows you know how to play the basics of Heavy is all. :v:
My RED heavy's foot fell off as soon as I took him out of the box. Glue didn't help.

I topscore majority of servers i play regardless of class. Doesn't really change the fact being able to mow down enemies in under a second isn't fun as hell.
[sp]I'm happy to go against you if you're implying what i think you are though. :v:[/sp]
I wasn't, just was saying it's not too hard to pull off is all. I trust that you are a skilled player.

The Bioshock ones I bought are fine as well. Delta's got an issue with his drill/hand not sitting properly at times but other than that, pretty well done.
