This can still be glitched, after all, sometimes you would just laugh in a middle of fight without taunting at all which is weird.

I think it is to test out various mechanics that may be applicable elsewhere. This is just a "we don't give a shit" all in one. That's why you have "runes" and grappling hooks and tons of other fucked up modifiers.

What's the best medic primary?
I'm thinking it's a toss up between the overdose and crossbow.
But I also have a feeling that the Syringe Gun is underrated.

crossbow is a dangerous gamble since it just wont work against people that know how to move around
it's also pretty bad when you're just trying to retreat
Like most anything, it's gamemode dependent. In comp, crossbow is king. Reactive voice comms and you're also punished more for moving about. With crossbow, you can have a teammate stand still (or stand still on his own, then ask you for bow) and you can heal at range with a single arrow and not have to cross sniper sightlines.
In pub play, if you're willing to scream at your team and hope they listen, then maybe crossbow. I usually go overdose.
Ultimately it comes down to what you want to do. Mode has influence of course. Some modes it ...just doesn't matter really. Like Mannpowered for instance. For shits and giggles, I actually went Knockout Bonesaw medic on that mode. As it turns out, you'll get a rage group following you around, shittalking you while you fuck their faces up with a 30 killstreak.

And if you're firing as you retreat and a teammate gets in the way with full health, they'll absorb it anyway. It's much like the Rocket Syndrome. It might sound like a good thing to keep your teammates health topped up but in most of the pubs I've been in and had to take medic, they've got their thumbs up their asses and wander around without a clue of what is going on. Needless to say, these situations almost always results in them getting stomped and eventually rage quitting after blaming everyone else.
Crossbow is beautiful when used so well.

Nobody wants to be the dork that constantly gets killed because of their brain dead teammates. That's why medic is most of the times the least played class. I much rather be my own man and be able to actually kill stuff.
Medic is half relying on your team for your success and survival.
I play on pubs with shitty players because they're the only reliably open servers with no bullshit.
I hate my teams. Therefore I never play medic.
I played Medic once, tried co-ordinating, got called a retard instead.
I swear it's like being in a zoo.
Medic is arguably my favorite class, because you can literally turn a braindead team into all-stars just by chatting over mic and healing people. As long as you're polite about it, you'd be surprised as to how responsive otherwise incompetent players can be.
