What ever happened to the advanced weaponiser mod? Slags server is shut down, is there any other server I can go to for a similar mod?
One day, TF2C will make it a reality again.
I have a guy on my friendslist who keeps bragging to me how he makes 20 ref profit each day.
Told him I got 300 crates and not give a shit about those either.
It's like those spambots you get on Disquis threads talking about earning X amount per month and to click on a shady (and obviously compromised) site.
So is there any reason why most of scrap.tf's hat bots mostly just contain battle socks and Orion's Belts?
Valve's doing something with hats. I think they turned the drop rate down. Expect hats to rise.

Or knowing VALVe; they broke something internally, pushed the changes by accident in a recent patch and haven't realised yet.
As i said it before, its not like tf2 will die anytime soon as long as there are people playing it.
its most likely it will fall into obscurity much like how TFC does.

The market is so ridiculously saturated with hats right now that I don't think it would phase the economy much if they stopped dropping altogether.

This contradicts the rising prices of hats.
These guys were at Sakura-Con with me this weekend.

Bought the stuff at the top with a steam card. I'd say it's a good haul.
This contradicts the rising prices of hats.
I'd find it more believable to say that phenomenon is based more on the expectations of traders to believe there will be a price change, which in itself is what creates the price change. no droprate or craft manipulation would change the fact whether it would happen or not (save for when said changes spark that expectation)

There was a change to a point actually. The "Craft Hat" blanket price got updated from 1.22 refined up to 1.33 refined. However, I think it's more tied to total cost of a key rising and items rising with it.
So I was playing TF2 until I got disconnected and this happened:

What's up with this?
I can't join any server.

Restart steam / your computer. Happened to me a little while back.

Awesome, that fixed it, cheers.
That happens to me practically once a week these days
Those stats.
I think it's time for a reset.
Those stats.

Is there a way to reset stats without losing the playtime for each class?
Is there a way to reset stats without losing the playtime for each class?
I believe you can still edit them back in with SAM.
Just put them down in a text document or something.

There's a slight chance that would get you VAC'd.
There's a slight chance that would get you VAC'd.
There's also a slight chance of being struck by lightning twice while having a threesome, doesn't mean it'll happen.
I wish they had separated stats and achievement-in-progress statuses a long time ago. So you could reset gameplay time on each class, topscores on each class, and achievement progress independently.
Right now, resetting stats resets all 3. Want to reset those unrealistic scores you got from some farming or ridiculously modded server? Say goodbye to your progress on lenghty, pain-in-the-ass achievements like Pyromancer, Tartan Spartan, 100k/1 million MvM bots killed, 1 million MvM cash collected, the 5000 sentry kills one etc.
There's a slight chance that would get you VAC'd.
The only way you'd even have a CHANCE at getting VAC'd is if you ran SAM while connected to a VAC-secure server, and even then I don't think it cares. You can run SAM without even opening the game, so it's perfectly safe as long as you're not stupid about it.
I went on a random server and witnessed a new way of griefing. An amputator medic would go near his spawn full of afks people and start healing them all, and then a third degree pyro would hit the medic with a random crit and wipe out the spawn. Sounds actually really fun. Imagine getting melee'd through walls and stuff.:suicide:

That's the most creative grief I had heard about

Something I really need to do. Hit someone who's being amputator healed, with third degree.
What are you supposed to do against a sticky launcher demo as a heavy? Especially when he's peaking around the corner to shoot them at you? I can't think of any way to beat one.

Run.
If see a stickyspammer coming at me down a tight corner, I run to a Medic or something and wait for the coast to be clear. Ain't crap a Heavy can do there without help.
edit: ok, running at me is the wrong word. If he's running at me, he's not ready for a Heavy going down his throat and I can shoot him. If he's standing there menacingly, I'm being covered in crit stickies make it stop
You know I haven't actually played mannpower gamemode yet. Not once since it came out even.
Not out of any kind of moral standpoint, its just for some reason the hud I'm using causes me to crash to desktop every time I try to click quickplay on the main menu. I always use the server list so I never bothered to fix it and thus have never gotten on a mannpower server.
At least I've gathered that I haven't been missing much. :v:

Your hud needs an update bro. If it isn't supported then you need a new hud.
As for Mannpower, taking it seriously is like trying to take Mario Party seriously. It's fun, casual, luck-based, rubberbandy hell and 3/4 of the time you'll be pissed off at the outcome. It's not terrible, but expect frustration
rubberbandy hell
I don't recall my ping being bad on any Mannpower servers. But yes, I'm not very fond of the experience.
