I ended up buying 9 keys off marketplace.tf, and I'm gonna trade them for around 140 refined. Unfortunately my order was placed on hold and apparently marketplace.tf has gone to shit judging by the dozens of negative reviews on the Steam page. I'm documenting my order and everything so if Geel tries to fuck off with my money, I'll spot it.

I had the same issue. My order was delivered within an hour (due to an admin having to check it over). Hasn't happened again since then however.

Once you figure out what the buttons do making a map isn't all that hard. However it's a sharp learning curve how to make a proper map. (One that the engine chokes down without a hitch)

I'm still waiting unfortunately. I'll give it tonight before I get annoyed to be reasonable, but there's really no excuse for this when other sites do it within minutes.

The excuse is "fraud."
So today I learned that Righteous Bison + Rocket Jumper is absolutely hilarious in Mann Vs Machine, and actually surprisingly effective. I got top damage over two different intermediate missions, and absolutely devastated the tanks, even though we had a pretty good phlog pyro one time I still got 3x as much tank damage on that one in rottenburg where they send out 4 tanks in a row.
I can be an amusing loadout though it requires a decent enough team to make it work.

I've been getting the same thing. Pretty much every server on the server list has 150+ ping for no reason. When I join one, my ping ranges from 50 to 300. It's some really weird lag spikes that have only been happening this week, and they've happened before a couple of months ago. Good to know it's not just me.

I get it occasionally.
I originally thought it was a shitty internet connection (I'm hardwired into the network) so I used Asus' Packet Prioritisation for TF2 to see if that made a difference; it actually made my ping bigger/worse.
I made sure AVG was not updating/scanning while playing - still happened.
I closed the server browser and all instances of Chrome (I normally leave Facebook open on my second monitor in case someone wants to message me) and it still happens.
It's very weird I must say...

At least you can get on Luxembourg servers. They keep throwing an error at me forcing me to play on Stockholm ones.

and suddenly some guy comes up and tells me to stop, i spam again, he tells me again, i spam again, he tells me this is the last chance and i spam a fuck you
he was apparently an admin and muted me
i then turned the entire server against him because everybody liked the micspam i had been playing and the rules stated only annoying micspam was not allowed, which mine wasn't, then i informed him about handling his own server because it even lacked an unmute function and p much told him how to do his job correctly

Trust me with this get a team of Bison Soldiers and you will never ever lose a single gate. That thing fires so fast, pretty effect and easy to use, if I recall correctly, you can even buy damage resistances too. Basically you become a Space Marine and you can scream at the top of your lungs that you are one of 'em. I think I saved a demo of a tour like that.

Don't give him any bad ideas. Bison is still a subpar weapon that is inferior to any RL. It just needs damage upgrades.
Don't worry, I'd never go bisonjumper in Mann Up. I'm not That Guy. I just like to mess around in boot camp sometimes.
I have a question that bothers me so much, does the MOTD/browser supports WebM format in TF2?
