A few things: It's a Finnish server, it's a mixture of Valve and custom maps. There is no votekicking but there is usually either an admin or a regular who knows how to contact one.
Well fuck I just joined a valve server today and some guy was asking for a conga, asked him what he's giving for it, he said a purple hat. At first I thought it was a purple painted hat,so I was too late on sending him a trade request and someone else did the trade, guess what purple hat he had? A fucking blizzardly storm drill sergeant.

The few servers with communities that I like are in US and my ping is godawful there.
Instead I have to mostly play with Eastern Europeans whose mics emit HL2 Strider noises. 'tis a lonely time to be from yurop.

I used to frequent that and other Pelipurkki servers but even in the afternoon or sometimes on weekends it seems to be empty.
This guy on this really nice server I just found is commentating and he has a nice voice and he mentions me whenever I don't suck

So, I've been budgeting $10 a week for tf2 since I started my fancy new job. And since the updates have been crateless and tauntless I've used that money to buy the witcher3 on xbone.

Having a bit of a problem with replays... when I load one, it zooms through the replay extremely fast from some random person's perspective for a while and then the game crashes. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Disable cl_new_impact_effects by setting it to 0 in console and inside your autoexec.cfg if you have it there.

Forgot to mention, I've tried that already. It's already set to 0 in-game.
I really, really miss playing this game with friends. It's so good to just boot it, select the same team and see who can do the most awesome stuff or who doesn't die first. Even listen to those neat conversations between players in all-talk servers. Oh how I miss it.

Dota2, LoL, Payday 2, or being responsible human beings has consumed most of my TF2-playing friends and now I'm sad and alone. Doesn't help that quickplay killed off all the nice friendly community servers.
