I've been used to charge turning for years. Unless they nerf the thing to the point where I spontaneously shit fire out of my ass just by wearing it, I'll never stop using it exclusively.

That sometimes happens when there's a vote only for the other team, like votekick.
The vote system disappears after you start or make a vote and only leaves the sound effects, most likely to prevent the box from blocking the screen. Enemy team votes only show kicks for a brief second.
Or if someone votes to kick you, because your vote is automatically "no".
I think it's annoying when you can see the vote, but for some reason you can't vote and you end up taking a screenshot instead
So today I learned that if you call a votekick on an aimbotter, all they have to do is switch to spectator before the vote finishes, and it won't ban them. Not to mention you can't call votekicks on players on the other team, and god forbid you try to get the other team to call a vote because "oh the cheater is on our side, we'll win now!"
I guess it just goes to show that valve just doesn't give a shit anymore if these are the kind of systems they put into place so they don't have to get involved.

There used to an items exploit, like the no equip region one, that allowed custom paints, and then valved patched it and no one could do it because some idiots abused it to get free keys.

It used to be Team Spirit. I think for some reason the hat still thinks its painted the Blue and cannot figure out what the original second color was.
I'm actually starting to remember some sort of patch that came out around the time I got the hat that dealt with paints, but I can't be for sure and the wiki is down so I can't check patch notes.
