You can yeah. It should look like:
[noparse][t]ImgurLinkHere[/t][/noparse] (The link, ideally, should be the image's URL when you click on it (when you right click > copy image URL) - not the album one as I don't think the album link would work).
There's also a small green image button next to the capital A if you go into the "advanced editor". Bottom row, furthest on the right. If you highlight the imgur text and press it, it'll put the tags around it for you.
Or you know, press the little image icon with a tree on it and paste the link.

I'd say that would only be useful if the image was pretty small otherwise it'll not scale properly (unless they fixed that, making T practically useless).

That posts a full size image. [t] tags make them thumbnails.
