It might be a bug with the setclass sourcemod command, since I've had weird experiences with it before while screwing around on that server. Like I once set my class from Spy to Medic and activated an uber, which suddenly turned me into a Spy with my Medic loadout. Of course, the resizehead/resizetorso/resizewhatever commands have a part in it too.

I think it's the 'meet the soldier head gibs' or something of that fashion. I use it along with the 'TIP cartoony gibs' and 'meet the team blood decals' for extra pleasure.
