serious answer: if a heavy wearing gloves picks up an all-class melee weapon like a pan or something, they'll drop their gloves
but since the gloves don't have a physics model like most other weapons (since they're not supposed to be dropped in the first place), the dropped weapon can't move and it'll be frozen in place instead, blocking things that are in the same spot like carts and doors

the train is a separate entity from the platform, so even though the platform is stuck, the train isn't, and it can still move around by itself
and since the "capture zone" volume for frontier's cart is attached to the [b]platform[/b], not the train, blu can just sit on the stuck platform to make the train move forward and capture the checkpoints by itself (look at the hud, it's already at the next point), while the platform stays behind
