:10bux: says you're a pedo
people who rage about the backburner, it buffs one of the pyros skills, ambushing, but he cant be a pybro. when i used it i ambushed people.
people whining about the gibus. i can only accept your whining if they think it is a real hat, and bash your bonk helm.
i have yet to encounter kids or those signature sprays. am i just lucky?
Snipers who wave at you.
Smug bastards...
I love killing people with noscope and then taunting :v:
It drives others Snipers mad.
I hate people who use a spray that is "artisitic" or "cool" with their name plastered on it in an attempt to make themselves look cool.
Love people who use hilarious sprays that are worth my time to look at during set up.
More than anything the people who have to announce when they mute someone. Of course if it's on a server where i'm a mod, either I or a fellow admin will mute them and say "muted". That usually makes them leave which is even better.
"Fucking micspammer, good thing I muted him"
The god damn Gibus.
That's about it. I can't help myself, but I rage uncontrollably whenever I see someone wearing that ugly PoS.
I have a custom skin for Heavy that makes the gibus looks like his TFC hat and goggles
Whenever I see a gibus I guess they have a skin on for it
I deleted my event "hats"
It's a fucking hat, stop fucking crying about it.
Let people use it if they want, don't like it? Don't use it then.
9. Kids that have the "awesome face" (or variations of it) as their avatar./Kids that say "owned/pwned/noob"
This, in advance, is one everyone can agree on.
Especially the kids who use the "awesome face" as their sprays.
6. People who say the Ubersaw/Axetinguisher/KGB are direct upgrades.
I used to be like you until I figured out they actually were upgrades. You should pretty much never have to resort to an original melee unless you're careless and run out of ammo, so you might as well equip the ones that have a practical use in the battlefield.
The only upgrade there is the Ubersaw, I use the Axe for the crits and the Fists for the tauntkill.
puff and sting is much more reliable than random crits that take as much time to get as it would to kill the guy just by flaming him
and how often do you get taunt kills
The only upgrade there is the Ubersaw, I use the Axe for the crits and the Fists for the tauntkill.
The Bonesaw is faster and I am much, much better with it. I sometimes go on killing sprees with it and manage to get at least three people before the enemy team realizes I'm not on their side.
I make a point to heal everyone as a medic, and I stick to only people who are key assets (Pyros/Soldiers/Heavies, almost always in cases where there is a sentry up ahead). It really gets to me when a scout is running around me trying to ask for a heal and I TRY To heal him, don't get me wrong, I heal spies when it's all clear (friendly spies). Instead he continues to run, I get killed by a Backburner pyro (DO NOT GET ME STARTED ABOUT THAT), respawn, and he's waiting there.
He proceeds to rage about how I'm such a "bad" medic, when in a team of 15, I'm ranked #2 in about 30 minutes of playtime with only medic.
TL;DR - I hate people who whine about not getting heals when they're running away from me.
People who scream into their mic to melee fight when they're a constant self-healing, ubersaw-wielding Medic, and you're a Scout with 7 hp.
Then they go bonkers when you shoot at them while retreating.

I don't use my melee as a Pyro
So what if I don't get tauntkills? The only good thing the KGB has is the 5 seconds of crits, and besides, I never see a Heavy with the KGB out.
puff and sting is much more reliable than random crits
True, but it can't be used on enemy Pyro's, and it's useless unless you ignite your enemy first which causes a lot of noise...
With the Axe you can kill enemy Pyros, and you can deal damage without making a lot of noise and therefor more effectively deal damage without alerting the enemy.
that take as much time to get as it would to kill the guy just by flaming him
This is false however, the time it takes you to switch weapons and swing the melee is about the same time it would take you to kill them with the flamethrower.
and how often do you get taunt kills
Depends on how good you are at deciding on the right time to use them.
I personally just use them because they have a faster swing rate though, and that is more worth it than the 5 seconds of crits that I rarely have any use for.

Who even gets kills with the KGB in a normal game
Who even gets kills with the KGB in a normal game
Good heavies
:colbert:
Though fists are my usual heavy melee of choice...
It's called a shotgun.
A silent shotgun?
Very defensive about not using flame are we?
Lol wut?
I agree, but getting a double kill with KGB, then switching to minigun to get a few more kills? Priceless.
Mjeh, it's worse at killing than the regular fists due to the decreased swing speed and it requires more enemies to be within range for it to be useful again... too opportunity based for my taste.

Good heavies don't need the KGB's 5 seconds of crits to get kills.

Pyros are not meant to take down other Pyros and charging an enemy Pyro with the Ax is a very dumb move honestly. Even if the first swing is silent, most likely they are at full health or at least enough to survive your hit, then they'll turn around and respond to your attack. At that range even the normal flamer has more DPS than the Fireax, and that's putting down the Backburner possibility.
Honestly you'd be better sneaking up with the shotgun at point blank since both take 3 shots at that range and the Shotgun has some range to it.
As for KGB vs Fists, neither are practical in-game, so it really doesn't matter either way. 20% is significant on the slowest melee in-game, so honestly it's just down to preference. But on defense once or twice I have made use of KGB crits. Its a very rare occasion but it is there.
This is false however, the time it takes you to switch weapons and swing the melee is about the same time it would take you to kill them with the flamethrower.
but what I mean is that you still only get a 33% chance of a crit so the odds are by the time you get it you could have killed the guy
I mean don't get me wrong the originals are better for actual melee fighting but the thing is I never find the urge so use a melee to stay alive and I usually fare well without it.
I love killing people with melee, it's surprisingly effective :v:

Also, not everyone has the Shotgun equipped.
The Fire Axe might be a good choice when you have the Flare instead then.
You'll have a tool for possibly a silent instant kill, and for killing enemies under water.
Every single demoman i encounter. I despise that class. Either it's super overpowered, or they're all godlike players. Either way i suck at being a demoman.
