Isn't Valve going to add the winning entries first than slowly implement the runner ups?
Wonder where was this feedback when i was making my pack and actually needed it? People are only now saying it was shit. And simski you even posted in my polycount thread and didn't give any feedback so please keep your comments to yourself this time too. Its like watching your food burn and then complaining that it doesn't taste good...
I didn't intend to make it gears-of-warish but i did intend to try and give it more of a serious look TF2 had when it came out, you know before sandvitches and stunning baseballs. If there ever is another competition like this i will be sure to submit a beach pack or something, maybe that will be comical enough for you guys.

I really wish Ithoual's [url=http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73844]prototype weapons[/url] had made it in. They look amazing, and I always thought the Soldier needed an M1 Garand.

I love the taser, sounds are kindof low quality and maybe bit too lound and animations were bit choppy but awesome regardless.
Also i cant even pick favorites, just too many good entries.

I hate the Prototype weapons pack, very uninventive. Rocket launcher's kinda cool, but imo the box kills it.

Yup, it's Valve & Polycount fault, at first, the contest was only about new skins for weapons, so that's why people made themed pack...

They also made themed packs because the rules were that the packs had to follow a consistent theme... they had no choice :v:

Why do people like Cooking Papa so much?
I mean, it [I]is[/I] pretty cool. But jeez it's probably the most out of place submission I've seen without being it being a low quality one. The entire theme would make more sense for the Pyro, really.
I wish swizzles' packs and YM's pack had won, along with two of the three demo packs. (The two good ones.)

Strange but I dont remember anything in the rules saying that we had to follow a theme. It was more of a global agreement due to the the way polycount do their own contest (involving themes) usualy. I guess thats why they assumed it had to have a theme.
but I must agree that having a theme helps to have a more stable pack and fit with each others.
I wanted the heavy pack to win that had the minigun which was just 2 miniguns on top of each other. I didn't care about the rest but that gun was fucking fap-worthy :flashfap:

I do agree somewhat...
I do love the Cooking Papa pack because of Heavy's large nature and eating habits and because of how well made it is...
However if it was accepted... it would mean Pyro would never get this hat D:

The Fez doesn't fit spy at ALL.
I love the battered buckshot. I think a semi auto shotgun would've worked perfectly.

Assault rifles would destroy the purpose of Tf2.
It would turn into CSS.
Any Medic pack would be good. They all look like they would change the way you play the game and would all generally be fun if the tF2 team decided to make them good.

I hate the Spy pack, because it doesn't fit the theme. (Except for the revolver, but that's just because it's a Nagant, and my brother owns one.)
To be honest, I really wish Valve would find a different winning Spy pack.
