well, I have, I think.
Minigun = Assault Cannon
Frying Pan, or pretty much any allclass melee = Axe/Crowbar/Umbrella
Sticky Launcher = Pipebomb Launcher
Spy revolvers, namely the default, L'Etranger and Enforcer = Tranquilizer Gun
Shotguns/Force-a-Nature = Double-Barrel Shotgun
Flamethrower = Incendiary Cannon
Syringe Guns = Nailgun/Super Nailgun

I dunno, there's not too many names/references you can have since weapons in TFC and QWTF had very basic names like the stock weapons in TF2

Was thinking about renaming my Neon Annihilator to "The Minor Second," but I doubt anyone would get the reference. Think it would be worth it?

The more obscure the reference, the more awesome it is to spot it.

It sounds like a really cool subtle reference, but people who don't know what a minor second is (and I don't know how common it is to know about minor seconds) wouldn't ever get it. In the end you should just rely on whether or not you like it enough to do it and not if other people will like it.
