...he cant use shotgun
The scattergun is just a shotgun with a different name.
The scattergun is just a shotgun with a different name.
but scatters are generally double barrel, the closest is BFB and even that isnt a pump shotgun

It's still a shotgun at the end of the day
but either way I see way more names to the tune of "hahaha u suck" or "rainbow dash's panty shot waifu masturbation cannon" on Scatterguns than the Kurt Cobain one
I recently picked this up:

Any name/desc suggestions?
Came up with this playing payload, though I might have heard the joke from somebody a couple years ago. Think I should put it on my Strange Solemn Vow?

There is a thing called a double barrel shotgun you know. Hell, to quote wikipedia "A shotgun (also known as a scattergun and peppergun, or historically as a fowling piece) is a firearm that is usually designed to be fired from the shoulder, which uses the energy of a fixed shell to fire a number of small spherical pellets called shot, or a solid projectile called a slug."

kurt used a single barrel dummy

I know, I'm just saying that a scattergun is still a shotgun, just a different type.

let's call winger and pretty boy the same weapon because they're both pistols
let's call winger and pretty boy the same weapon because they're both pistols
So you agree they are both pistols even though there is a weapon already called "Pistol" in the game?
pretty sure one of you meant that the shotgun and scattergun aren't the same weapon in-game and the other one meant that the scattergun in real life is a shotgun variation.
now let's get back on the rails before someone trips over the ban-wire and breaks a leg

I saw another one of those "Pew Pew" spy pistols the other day with the description "Bang ban you're dead" (except it was much longer and alot worse spelt).
At first I thought those pistols names were funny, but now I just get sad that they wasted their tags on something so dumb.
First time I got a name tag I just called my ambassador "The Hand Cannon".
During the Spy vs Sniper update it was described with "Put two wheels on this thing and it's a cannon", and I loved how big the thing was. It's the second ambassador I've ever had, the first would have been vintage but I got rid of it before the whole vintage thing came along.
I still use it, but since it's the revolver I always use on my spy I wish I had a strange version or something. Maybe I could buy a strange festive? The black metal looks amazin'. (I'm not one for renaming strange weapons but that'd be an exception.)

they're distinguishable variants of a specific guntype
They're handguns.
They're metal pebble launching devices powered by explosions.
Meet me on the B-Ball 5 o'clock we'll fight to the death over semantics.
Met an alt that was obviously for "trolling" as it had the complete package. Above average skill, a shit talking script and constant mic spam. And of course, under 20 hours in game.
That's pretty standard though, but his sniper rifle rename was in a league of its own when it comes to awfulness.

Even "get rekt" is more annoying than this. This is like babby's first edgy rename or something :suicide:

Meh. Renaming weapons to other weapons names was a tired joke as soon as the concept of name tags were kicked around.

It isn't a joke, in comp it was pretty common practice to rename your medigun, especially to another medigun for advantage. you know how your character model in the corner of your screen is 3D? well back when it was 2D, they couldnt see the item you're holding, only the name. Enemy spies could find out what you're using early and relay it to their team. if you renamed it, they couldn't know what it was until they fight you.
this was just broken on the 3d model update because now you can actually see the medigun you have
Are you seriously saying it's a bad thing that they fix design errors? Come on.

You might want to tell your friend to untag that, since that is considered item misrepresentation, which can get one a report on steamrep.

that's only if you try to scam somebody with a nametagged item, lmao.
