I never got why people wasted 4 refined on a nametag just to use it on a regular weapon, not a strange or anything

I prefer to avoid stranges for most things, kinda pointless unless it's a niche weapon/strange part.
Like, I have a strange fan o'war because getting a kill on the thing actually means something. (Plus it's probably humiliating to know you just gave it a +1.)

But a strange rocket launcher for example?

Personally, I'm pretty nerdy when it comes to stats in TF2. I enjoy looking at the amount of kills or types of kills via strange parts on my weapons. I like how it gives me an idea on where most of my kills come from and on what class/using what weapons.

Everyone's different though. I've seen some players who have obviously farmed their weapon kill counts using maps like strange_Level_upperV5 just to brag and they can't use the farmed weapon for shit but they're quick off the mark to run their mouths off about it.
