You write on them with permanent ink I guess. I really hated it when I made a typo in one of my nametags a while back.
Though I dont mind it too much, you can get both a name tag and a desc tag for like 90 cents on the market.

I really want to put a name tag on my Strange Back Scratcher (because I use it very often when I play Pyro). Any suggestions?
Back when I was F2P I had a Unique quality Original that I named "Hale's Own Original" with the description of something like "5298 kills" or similar. Only later did I realize I looked like an idiot because Strange quality weapons have orange-colored names, not yellow ones :suicide:
