First guy traded it away for 3 v. sandviches and some other crap, 2nd guy passed the bat on for a beak+phantom+white paint. Third guy is waiting for the troll to trade him... which won't happen. Sad part is that some guy is bugging me constantly, because his buds+bill's offer is being ignored by the bat owner (while that offer isn't a joke :l).

So what you're saying is that no one besides people with a shit ton of items already is ever even going to get the item, and then they'll win something more for them to have when they already have a shit ton of things? This is totally fair for everyone.

So if I start a group and slap a name and description on some piece of trash then claim to award the holder of it a mysterious prize I can convince people that it is worth fathoms more than it's supposed to be? Sounds wonderful, but to use it to my advantage I should probably ask for everything they earned from the trash item first, then give them the "award". Genius, but if that part falls through then I can simply give them nothing and laugh at everyone who traded for it. Either way I win. :smug:

Nerfed and Strobe are both Dutch, I don't believe that somehow, the bat got traded a few times and coincidentally, another Dutch person ends up with it. They're probably just trying to scam, I offered him like 6 hats including a Portal pin but he refused.

I'm not looking to profit from this. I shouldn't really have made this thread here. The spuf community is generally dumb enough to just get the point of "item. having it = reward. Reward can be anything so have fun mindgaming yourself. Go." FP community overthinks everything. And don't mind strobe; if I have to be entirely honest, I'd say he is a moron. 1. I have the guy on my friends list ever since about 2 hours after he obtained the bat. As I said earlier, the guy is bloody obsessing over me. That punchapoo guy has been on my friends list for a while though, but I really don't know what his reasons are to want the bat that badly. I am not assuming this community is dumb; I am assuming people will at least try to cooperate with an event intended to be fun. I can safely bet all my belongings on it, that if I give €500 to a random poster in this thread, he will deny the offer and flame me for not giving him €5000. You're looking too far into it. As for the bat.... optf2.com. click bat. click gifter's name. Now get the hell out of this thread. All you are doing is letting your imagination take over, and derailing the thread.
