qwerterberry reincarnate
Qwerterberry IS Restallarous, he just made an alt when he was banned (again).
If y'all haven't been keeping up to date with Dark Interval, it recently got some new media! http://www.moddb.com/mods/dark-interval Go check it out, they've got some neat stuff to show off! Here's a preview of the new media:
Holy damn! Can't wait to see the dropship in action. I like the added engine glow on it. [T]http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/19/18706/Dropship.png[/T] Also, the "Red Canal" teaser image looks insanely atmospheric, just like the rest of the mod.
Holy damn! Can't wait to see the dropship in action.
I've actually made it compatible with retail dropship code. (almost 100% compatible, difference stems from the fact that it opens from the back and not the front) So I could record it deploying soldiers in HL2. Not really much different, the drop pod opens its hatch and soldeirs jump out. Actually, they're not as prone to be killed instantly, because the dropship serves as cover. I do want to make it able to deploy soldiers via rappel, though.
If you could show it off in a video, that would be really cool indeed.
Alright! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWQnlDZFYu0&feature=youtu.be Sooo, yeee, not QUITE lining up with those landing points, but their placement weren't designed for that. And I'm not gonna use such case of cliff-edge landing anyway, so we're safe. I probably will change the hatch to open upwards, like seen here [t]http://combineoverwiki.net/images/6/6f/Dropship_yellow.jpg[/t] This way it won't clip through the ground, and can even provide cover from above.
*dropship stuff*
Dang, looks pretty nice with the engines swaying about. But like you said, the soldiers rappeling down from it would probably look and work better if it's set up the right way. These old dropships just don't look like they were set up for landing on those claws upfront anyway.

I personally never understood why the old dropship flies vertically like that. It never made sense to me. Am I the only one?
What are you even talking about?
Nanomachines and the future.
You don't understand. This guys holds ALL the answers.
It's the Antlion model used at the time the E3 2002 screenshots were taken, basically their fangs are longer and less detailed. Birther - (rare) one who gives birth, woman in labor - female antlion. Well, as a hierarchy of ordinary (terrestrial) ants. Birther - сonventional mobs, appear at the call of the host (npc_antlionguard). Previously (2001y) there was no class npc_antlion. Instead, it's was npc_antlionguard himself. But good luck serving as a Combine soldier and having to fly in it upside down. Maybe there are some rotating harnesses inside, probably not.

That there was just npc_antlionguard, and that the "birthers" - the earliest antlions - were entirely handled by the npc_antlionguard code? You see, I would call this a goddamn amazing Beta discovery, worthy of applause. But who knows lol, he might as well be cursed or something.
Someone needs to lay off of the Krokodil .
That's Java code.

It could be that they were spawned by npc_antlionguard instead of being placed by themselves. Also, it's worth noting that the original Birther.mdl has no animations although it's rigged.
Also antlions could be made through npc_makers (usually they are, in fact) so one should check for those, too.
Also, it's worth noting that the original Birther.mdl has no animations although it's rigged.
The Antlions with the Birther's mesh in the E3 2002 Depot screenshot are seen with animations though, but that could be because birther.mdl is just an animationless copy of the antlion.mdl of that time and didn't change when antlion.mdl was updated. By the way, has anyone tried recreating the model of the quadruped Gargantua?
To be fair, he doesn't shitpost unless people are picking on him.
People start picking on him when his posts become too hard to understand because the poster lacks common courtesy to make them legible. It is not hard to post legibly. Too often his posts, while informative in a way, come with the burden of some attached personal issues and weird poorly translated idiomas and codes and cyphers (just what). And this thread seen more than few people with not-great grasp on the English language yet they still managed. This progressively moved from people indeed picking on him unknowingly, to him now being too stubborn to accept that it is annoying (posting like that). So come on, restellarous. Make a step towards mutual understanding too.
