Windows 10? Launch it in Win7 compability mode. Posting two sketches I made recently: airex_04 and a shuttle from some 2001 c17 maps. https://i.imgur.com/mhQeEpA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/GGUVZ4Z.jpg
Yep it's running in compatibility mode and is still doing it. Not sure what it could be. (very nice drawings by the way, Air Exchange is actually what made me choose my username)
I was doing some research for WW2 outfits, and found this. This looks strikingly similar to the Pyro concept art for Invasion, I'm positive the concept art is based off this outfit. But since the suit was used by Japan soldiers, then that means Pyro is Japanese in Invasion. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/240792/eff8b986-0362-4369-a08a-5f87dcdb7504/pyro22.png
As I wrote on the previous page. No, that's a bug with the Creators Update on Windows 10 I believe. Currently the only fix is downgrading.
Yeah, or when I will add Raw Input to LeakNet. By the way, do you know who can help me with this?
Hello, I am working on Half-Life 2 Episode Two 2006 beta mod to re-create old features from HL2 2004-2006 Years On Source 2013 and making story line using the leaked ep2 VMFs Source maps. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/0115c0ed-a4af-422c-b7af-abc30ee95e5e/20180323103056_1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/3b6d5536-750e-4a5d-8e22-03dbbf15525f/20180323103101_1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/030202d8-5413-4e1a-9b80-f8de660337d2/ep2_intro0000.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/b03b9352-db0f-4817-9b98-2b08ee1af864/ep2_outland_01_20060002.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/dc8229b6-bfb6-4f8d-ab16-2bb2ab776405/ep2_outland_02_20060003.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/f4c9771c-d14f-47a7-9fdd-c69fbcafb5e3/unknown.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/a33a81d4-79b7-42de-8d08-74b64a6a016c/unknown.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/7ba1d89e-e817-4610-9bcc-4c1e5d459c90/unknown.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/20071777-25fd-42f6-9895-b387229f2e14/ep2_outland_05_20060000.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/bffbf579-9a28-4345-a876-0662be3b17cd/ep2_outland_05_20060002.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/3b07389b-9ac2-43c9-99b1-95e60a602733/unknown.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/241821/579f0db1-7967-4565-b118-8bfb86086df7/unknown.png The old storyline is ready, will end from Outland 01 to Outland 08, now I'm working on bonus maps that will be include the particle simulation benchmark, the evolution of Outland 01, Outland 05, Outland 06, Outland 06a , Outland 07 and more. I'll release the first demo of this mod soon when I have finish the bonus maps and send for playtesters for feedback.
I'm not even sure how to do that. Do let me know if you find out though, although I may just end up finding a way to downgrade. Also: Good luck on the mod! I'll be sure to try it out once you release a demo.

Long Jazz Chronicles: Nixed by Gabe edition. From the description of trailer 1: "This is the long jazz version of the trailer that Gabe nixed us releasing. Mostly because it was a joke in the first place."
I made a thing https://i.imgur.com/LkK8ehT.jpg
I was looking around the WC mappack, and found a level called "flymh" in the lars folder. This level is a brick textured level that has citizens in a maze. You also get an iceaxe and become a manhack. This must be the game from the manhack arcade.
Got links to the original .mpg files?
i got rated late for this when i was the first person to talk about it on this thread
Okay everyone it's 2018 now but i notice that this conscipt Vance is not the same as the leak male08 facemap one. Here the comparison: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/376781981385621514/428925208112529409/Captain_Vance_model_bust.jpg Well i believe that this conscipt Vance is much more different both the head mesh (his neck )and the face texture (consider the quality is as same as Manwich facemap and consul.mdl) and his vest collar is much more detail than the regular conscipt. Even this swapping leak highres facemap and it's still not the same [https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/214705020980035584/428918814579621889/-1.png?width=282&height=300]
I did noticed that the bottom of vance's neck compared to retail looked like it was thinned abit to fit into the citizen body mesh. The head itself might of been an modified male_02 do to their necks looking similar to each other back then. But what catches me the most in this old screenshot is the grey collar, and it might of been that the facemap itself might of overlapped itself which showed his upper stretched hair. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/244173/8689d4c1-0f4d-4236-bba2-1ef4dd8c451a/Untitled-3.png

In hl2 beta alyx just couch surfs between her increasing number of dads. (barney to kliner to eli to gordon to vance)
sucks that they apparently cut so many traps
I found that some of the leak textures are higher resolution than the retail ones. I'm 14 years late, right? https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247342/ffd655ed-8056-44eb-813c-d706b05c8994/compar.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247342/a310fa94-30b9-4d9d-8473-6ec1ee104706/compar6.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247342/f893d564-686f-4d0b-a5b5-9bd37f5ae61b/compar4.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247342/07f04ad6-febf-4437-9189-0545cf302bc7/compar5.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247342/fb73ac89-01c2-43f9-8b74-8c0bfa6a65ed/compar2.jpg
The USP also has a much higher quality texture. I wonder why they made the textures smaller? It can't hurt the system that much I'm sure..
It's optimization for both hardware and file sizes. The same happened with Half-Life from the release of Day One to the retail release of Half-Life, textures were downgraded.
I've been scratching my head recently, and have come up with a pretty good explanation for a major discrepancy in my map list. A major point in my list was that lab_lvl3a was not the last map, and was followed by chamber 18 (then called lab_lvl4). There was one major problem, there was no trigger_changelevel to lvl4. because of this, I have come to the conclusion that the version of lab3a that we have represents how it existed when used as an ending placeholder later on in development. I have four points to support this hypothesis: The editorbuild places the map's last save date as mid 2006 The map includes an npc_portal_turret_floor, even though at the time they would have likely used npc_turret_floor. This could be explained by them going through and replacing all the hl2 turrets with portal turrets. The map uses a few assets from 2006, namely the fizzler and aperture science logo (both in the lobby) Lastly, as stated earlier, there is no trigger_changelevel to lab_lvl4 even though one of the visgroups is named after that level. This leads me to believe that after going through a major story reform in early to mid 2006, they moved this level to the end of the game, and added on the lobby area, thus it using the 2006 assets. This would also explain why it is one of very few 2005 maps to still exist today.
I recently noticed that the walk_all and run_all animations for mossman.mdl in the leak are completely different from the others. I thought that these may have been some slightly earlier animations for the citizens.
this might not be fit here but ill ask here enyways (because idk where elsr to ask) where i can download versions of tf2 before October 29, 2013 because this is the oldest version steam db has (older versions from 2010 to early 2013 had models and content that were removed + changed content like sounds and particles, thats why i search for these :P )
There were no public releases of these versions so won't find downloads for them.
So I was doing some research about Invasion, and was looking at TalonBrave's file archive. About a month ago, an unfinished build of The Axel Project's TF2 Invasion build was uploaded onto it. This build is more complete then any released builds out there, for the most part. It's archived in TAR, and is about 265MB compressed. This demonstrates key gameplay mechanics, like resource zones and others. You can download it here. This was in development from 2010 to 2012, from what I've seen.
Uh, considering TF2 was released in 2007 I think you'll find there were public releases pre-2013 and you can find them somewhere (though I don't remember where).
Anyone remember us getting a glimpse of the missing HL2 texture 'water_wasteland001' in the canals001 envmap? https://imgur.com/a/KoVLU Well, turns out it's actually been sitting under our noses this entire time. This is the (unused) texture 'oil001a' from the leak: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109794/cc82a7fc-07f4-45db-982b-0a805c3edbf5/oil001a.jpg Look similar to the envmap? It should, I've run some comparisons, and it turns out that it is actually water_wasteland001! There's another missing texture to cross off the list!
I need some help with that old press build of half life 1 How do I get it to save my keybinds? It always resets them. Also how do I get bullet tracers to show up? I've seen these in Marphy's videos. Also also what about some more hud elements? The weapon selector doesn't show up no matter what I do. Also seen this in some videos.
Both of the provided batch files, Half-Life.bat and Half-Life GL.bat, automatically executes gaben.cfg which sets the controls back to Gabe's configuration. You can either remove the "+exec gaben.cfg" parameter from the batch files or remove gaben.cfg. A bare minimum of the HUD will display when you press the + and - keys. However, the bullet tracers and weapon selector as shown in one of my videos only appear in the software renderer. In order to use the software renderer, Windows has to be in 16 bit color mode, and it seems it doesn't run in Windows 10 regardless.
