Did some digging, found a higher quality version of the TF2 Power Shield deploy concept all alone in it's own directory on Chuck's site. It's way better in quality then the one you can find normally.

Yep, correct, that's what brickwall012c used to look like before it was changed around ~late 2002. I did make a recreation of it some time last year, but I never considered it good enough to release:

Decided to try my hand at remaking the trailer era chambers which despite being only a few months older is pretty drastically different in some ways than the leaked build from Dec 06
Flame portals
Observation rooms are primitive reflective rooms or use plaster wall textures
Most props such as the button and doors are untextured
Buttons use default moving sound and are not on a 128x128 brush
Launcher uses an earlier model, I was able to recover the raw XSI model and rig it to retail animations
Catcher is smaller and placed on an octagonal brush
Elevator brushwork is also more primative
Yellow line indicators with orange brush endcap instead of the dotted orange/blue indicators in retail
HPD uses older F-22 texture

Compiled a list of all the missing models in Invasion, and organized it so it's easier to read. I counted too, there's 92 missing models mentioned in the source code. Probably gets into the hundreds thanks to missing viewmodels/worldmodels too.

Over the course of the last year or so, I've made many Frankenstein-style mock-up texture recreations of lost HL2 textures, but I haven't been bothered to release most of them. So, here are a bunch of texture recreations that I haven't released up until this point. Please do credit me if you use them!
Some of the textures included are a full recreation of the old brickwall011 series (based on the texture buildingset016a), a recreation of the old concretewall017 series (revealed in ValveTime's c1a3 screenshot), a brickwall012c recreation, and more!
(I think there may also be one or two renamed textures from CZ included)

We've already talked about almost everything related to the betas, so there's nothing to discuss besides people wanting to recreate beta content.
I checked, nobody really found this, except some quake fan sites mirroring a FTP site called "telefragged," this could possibly be the rarest video on Half-Life 2 beta.
This is (maybe?) Axel with a CD of Half-Life 2 beta, saying he stole it from valve itself. Main differences are the intro to Traptown and the main menu, I have never seen before.

Well back when the beta was initially leaked it was kind of a huge pain to find and it also didnt work super well like it does now adays. So lots of folks made fakes claiming to have it and gotten it running properly. That could potentially be one of those.
That's just the e3 demo traptown, I don't get it.
Absolutely nothing new about any of this. This is what Valve showed off at E3 when Half-Life 2 was first shown to the public. I imagine a lot of people in this community wasn't born back then which is kinda weird to think about.

Hello everyone, the first demo ep2 2006 beta mod was released, here is the download link: ep2_2006.rar Episode Two 2006 beta mod
Installation:
1.)Download "ep2_2006.rar" archive in provided above link,
2.)Extract it to your "sourcemods" directory,
3.)Install Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer in the Steam tools, right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer, select Properties, go to betas and select "upcoming -",
4.)Restart steam,
5.)Play.
Known issues: Animation issues on Outland 01 maps, Sometimes a rare case antlions does't spawn on ep2_outland_02_2006, try reload the map it's should fix it, Game crashes when you load saves on Evolution Outland 06 maps.
