[QUOTE=PikaCommando;52171357]Is that just a mockup, or is it gonna be a thing? Because I tried doing a similar thing a while back, but can't get the animations to work (so no monsters).

seen that video, it's an actual thing. i can post more if wanted [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/yL19B0z.png[/IMG]
Here's something weird I noticed while looking through textures of the HL2 beta. The tilefloor_001c has a completely different color then the one released and the tile floor in the beta itself

Just thought that was a little weird

They might've experimented with how different floor colors change an atmosphere or interior aesthetics of the building.
Note that the white overlay that's present on both textures is similar though shifted by one tile so that really could be an earlier/test version.

Just wanted to know, but has anyone found this model or made an accurate recreation?[/QUOTE]
Ehm, his current body model is a citizen body actually. You can simply replace his texture by default citizen sheet-texture with white jacket. It's 100% match.

or make a new citizen with odessa head :)
Updates on the code:
Apparently i uncovered a lot of kind of broken things.
i managed to compile shaders but it only works in a mixed manner, orangebox disc+ sdk base 2007 depot 216 + incomplete compile in the leak + generated the shaders myself (i ran into the mistake of cleaning up everything)
only hl2 seems to have working particles since other games are throwing "Didn't find particle function" messages. hl1 works but crashing due to crowbar IIRC
i still have no idea how lostcoast client broke the way it is
Portal is particleless. not much testing on tf
anyone knows about adminserver.dll interface internals? gui, etc?
any attempts to get the in-game platform stuff accessible? (friendsui stops working with orange box and the server ips are dead, unless the current friends network is compatible with those)

Ah, well, too bad I can't model. I was just interested in seeing if the og model was actually found, seeing as we found the elite MetroCop and the green bullsquid.
[editline]1st May 2017[/editline]
Also, does anyone know what happened to cvoxalury and how his mod [I]Dark Interval[/I]'s going? I think he said he planned to release it spring.

Technically not, Odessa's model has a differently modelled collar and a bit of a larger belly.
-snip i cant read-

ANGRY doggos.
On a side note: what monsters did you replace with these HL1 models?

scientist is on modified knight code, and the panthers are on modified fiend code
A little late, but I made a recreation of the full "old tilefloor" texture awhile back. Can't remember if it was posted already.

Currently the changelog for this version (not found in the original) include:
- Animations for motor jiggling.
- Animations for radio jiggling.
- Animations for speedometer jiggling.
- Animations for fenders jiggling.
- Animations for fan spinning.
- Physics collider model.
- Updated motor model.
- Updated passenger seat.
- And various updates to the Jalopy, mainly from the front.
Currently, it's still WIP and not available to download.
EDIT: This is being [B]COVERED[/B] by me and CutContentNetwork, but is actually being made by a programmer named VERM. I apologize for the miscredit and now you know the true creator of this fix.
I like the idea of strider-busters being stored in the fridge on the back.

Damn that looks good, I look forward to release. I felt like the retail car felt too fanservice-y, if that term applies. I understand replacing the wasteland with a forest, since it's impossible to convey a feeling of triumphant victory when everything you know is ruin. But an oldschool American muscle car in the middle of a poor Eastern European country is an odd thing to find.
Always thought I was the odd one out in the Ep2 commentary node that talked about that model being "uncool" and "disappointing to get." I'd've loved if they had stuck with it.
For those who missed it, ValveTime has released a new screenshot of HL2's Nova Prospekt as of 2002:

Hmm, the lighting in the 2002 one gives off a different atmosphere. Is that 2003 one in nighttime or daytime?
I like the 2002 one, it really gives off those ~prison vibes~

Considering the skylight I'm going to say daytime definitely.
might just be me but I am sick of those combine spotlights shoved everywhere

And then you finally get to Ravenholm and do you know what you get?

I think someone at Valve just really liked spotlights.
I mean to be fair it'd make sense for Grigori to rig up lights to keep visibility up at night.
