This is why I'm happy I don't hype anything anymore. Good or Bad, I get to experience the update as it is heh. If it's bad it's bad, if it's good it's good, then I can choose wither or not to be happy. In the mean time, instead of worrying, I get to draw shit for fun. Teaching myself how to draw Mei as we speak for a request I got a week or so ago. I can say for others sake that I hope it turns out to be good I guess though. Well, regardless of what happens though, guess I can at least wish everyone a happy holidays to those who celebrate it. If you don't, then a wonderful and exciting end of December regardless.

I don't want tf2 to win that award for the sheer fact that I don't want valve to think they're doing a good job with the game.

Well, it is the one of the oldest games on the list. Anyone else find it ironic that the "Test Of Time" Nominees aren't even that old. The majority of them are 2010-2012.

I guess it is safe to say that there will not be naughty/nice crates this year. Those usually started dropping 1-2 weeks before the update, right? So it will be some sort of festive gift like last year (if there are festives at all).

Tiered or not, getting a common item sucks, but at least tiered crates are more straightforward with rarity. Though, as always with crates, the only winning move is not to play.

For instance, they settle on the loser "offending their main class in the worst way possible" or "shittalking fp mods" or something. Once they're settled on that, post the results and ask a mod to keep track. Then, the loser has to fulfill the toxx clause under a punishment of a tban or pban. Whichever. This could be entertaining, especially if <some certain heavy main> rates the post and ends up being chosen. I'd love to see Exor talk shit about heavy. xD

The main appeal is in that ever-so-small chance you'll get something really good. Basically it's a donation to Valve because the odds are stacked against you.
