I can't believe it it's actually happening

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping and betting it'll come along with a gameplay update too.
I won't believe anything until I can see the link to Issue #6 with my own eyes and click the pages to unravel the story.
Two thoughts : The only one grinning is Gray Mann - he also doesnt have "ghost smoke" around him - perhaps hes still alive? Either these are fucking aliens or livers Man I am positive this Comic will start a golden age of TF2 again.
Im waiting for a delay
This lends more weight to the theory of the next major update releasing around Janurary 20th (the presidential inauguration) due to the election theme of the war. I'm not suggesting however, that it completely confirms that. But I just doubt that Valve would want to release a comic by itself - especially with the community's focus on full blast.
For a game about 9 people fighting it features a fucking lot of story charactes Jesus Christ
Optimistic - medic won't die, dumb - medic will actually die.
The TFC medic, who hasn't appeared yet in the comic will bring him back. =X At least, that's my guess...
Two thoughts : The only one grinning is Gray Mann - he also doesnt have "ghost smoke" around him - perhaps hes still alive?
gray is not still alive. the smoke is coming from the ghost d.a. featured on the t.v. EDIT in the room eyelander and demo were in
I had a feeling this will happen, the inner me expects an update between january 15 and february 15th, as every time I get a wave of exams, a storm fucks up power, another one knocks me offline and TF2 gets an update.

Holy shit, only two more months until the next comic!
idk why they'd kill off a merc in the plot tbh. I mean sniper "died" lmao
"Out this week"
The only one grinning is Gray Mann - he also doesnt have "ghost smoke" around him - perhaps hes still alive?
nah, we also have johnny murders, saxton's yeti, tom jones, the director, poopy joe, gray's eagle, the gentle manne of leisure, and a whole bunch of other characters who all died in there they crammed almost every character who's ever been drawn for the tf2 "lore" into this page just for this one gag, it's great
I'll belive it when it's actually out. They might pull a "my dog ate up the comic" on us.

Er... Did they include engie twice? Once next to Medic's head and one next to his knee? Or is that tfc engie? I'm doubtful since there hasn't been any other tfc characters shown. Also who's that muscly dude to the top and right of the yeti?
[t]https://braveblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/crisis7-00.jpg[/t] Oh, it's based on this cover.
well, the posing on that comic cover also takes inspiration from Cain and Abel, so you weren't wrong exactly
The problem with this sentiment is, what old players are we talking about? If you're talking about the players that were alienated by MyM, then sure, that's probably a good idea. But there have been tons of players who have left over the years as TF2 evolved from its launch status as a pretty clear-cut class-based FPS to what it is today, for better or worse. I don't think there's much you can do to reconcile the players who left due to "artstyle" complaints (their words, not mine), nor much you can do for those who miss the simplicity of launch loadouts (or at a push, classes with only their original class-update unlocks). And of course you also have the other side of things where there's probably people who have left simply because they've played so much TF2 that they need a change and to give it up.
Any and all players who have left. TF2 has a spectacular base game, proven by its survival despite all of the Valve team's neglect. People probably want to go back and play tf2, but there's nothing new or fresh, which is the opposite of new, similar games like Overwatch that is updated more regularly. But since MyM was a solid negative and Smissmas a letdown, the Valve team has to prove that it is valve quality by pumping out interesting and unique content to rebuild that reputation. If good, creative updates are released, even long gone players will return if it freshens up the game.
I like this idea. While thinking of more ways to advertise TF2 like that, for some reason trading cards came into my mind. While thinking of a possible way to introduce that, this is what I came up with: Having an item now would be the same as having the trading card for that item, it is just presented in a different way. This way you 'equip' and have cards instead of items. If there were collection trackers/categories/some card minigame(s), this could potentially introduce more reasons to trade items in all 'tiers' of item values, by introducing more incentive to go for specific items, even if they were 'low value' by giving a third value to an item beyond visual appeal or market value. An example of what a 'card minigame' could be: a very simplistic choose your own adventure, with the wrapping of an intense turn based game. Different scenarios are presented with different weapon choices offered in each one. You can look between each weapon and see the stats of each, and then choose one to play. A video would then play of your character doing the action, equipped with the cosmetic cards that you have equipped. The minigame could also serve as a tutorial and newer-player teaching device because players can learn about the effects of a weapon and potential strategies while playing. You don't even need the card aspect for that last idea to work.
I really, really like that idea.
Man I am positive this Comic will start a golden age of TF2 again.
You'd think people would learn to pad their blind optimism by now; evidently not.
I can't believe it it's actually happening
You're right, I don't It's still fucking shameful that we have to rely on Jay while the actual TF2 twitter account lays dormant

All those characters yet no trace of the Team Fortress Classic crew
