give engineer the reserve shooter, watch the world explode
give engineer the reserve shooter, watch the world explode
I don't think anyone would give a shit if Engineer got it. He doesn't have the easiest tools to popping people into the air. Only thing he'd get out of it was being able to quickly jump between weapons. But is it worth it for having less shells in your primary to defend yourself with?
destroy anyone blast jumping into you and/or your sentry?, I'm in
blast jumping into a sentry usually gets you sent back to yesterday
blast jumping into a sentry usually gets you sent back to yesterday
Even when I run mini's, which I will attack without the mini if I feel I have the upper hand. I would never use the reserve shooter over stock shotgun, widowmaker or frontier justice personally. It's upsides I feel would be too situational for me to really get a benefit with it over running the other shotguns.
I like all the references in the cover but a part of me wishes they used this one instead: [t]https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71hkKVtPj6L.jpg[/t]
Speculation for this issue and the remaining one: 1 Medic dies, is reanimated by the very last of the Earth´s australium, foiling the administrator´s plans. 2 Totally out of the blue final boss/climactic battle foiled by the Soldier´s bumbling. Or: 1 Issue ends at cliffhanger with Medic´s death 2 Medic is reanimated with Australium, Administrator makes some sort of last stand (blows up own base, team must escape). Also something something Scout´s Tom Jones memorabilia
What if the TFC medic will appear out of nowhere to revive our medic for no reason? There's also the puppy, the eyelander, soldier's grandma crew, Saxton, heavy's mother and sniper's parents. I'm sure these also have a purpose and will appear again in this issue or the next.

Incredibly unrealistic theory: Valve will cash onto the Comic Hype and tie it with the gameplay update weve been missing since Smissmas. Jay constantly said the Comic was supposed to release "at the end of the year" - what else do we get at the end of it? The Major Update. Perhaps Valve will combine the two and we'll get the missing update this week, but even I won't count on it, as it's extremely unlikely.
Ms. Pauling gave out GPS co-ordinates for the Administrator's rendezvous point to the TFC Spy, who was disguised as the TF2 Heavy. However, he promptly died, so the TFC team probably doesn't know where she is.
He radioed the coords to the TFC Heavy moments before dying.
Incredibly unrealistic theory: Valve is competent and makes a good pyro update.
going from sept 1 (the day after part 5 was released) to jan 14 (saturday most likely the latest it could be released) is 502 days ... remember when they said it would be out faster than part 5. 1 year, 4 months, 14 days including the end date [editline]10th January 2017[/editline] thursday will be 500 days
Incredibly unrealistic theory: Valve is competent and makes a good pyro update.
Valve has a lot of talented people on its payroll. The issue is, thanks to the loose management structure, they're not very consistent. A lot of their issues appear to be environmental, and I wouldn't be surprised if the internal documentation on TF2's code itself is lackluster. Working on the game if you're a new hire, or otherwise just new to the project, must be incredibly daunting.
From the announcement of the comic: Now even though this was over 3 years ago and plans might have changed, it's still good to keep in mind rather than expecting more and being disappointed.

Tbh I could easily see the robot that was sucking demoman's blood just malfunctioning due to his blood basically being pure grain alcohol from years of drinking, and letting him free so he can save the others with the eyelander
To a certain spy main: (contra) [t]http://i.imgur.com/2S32CoF.png[/t]
ha. i knew they forgot. smissmas 2013 had even less than 2016 and is on that page so it'd have been weird for them not to add it.
From the announcement of the comic: Now even though this was over 3 years ago and plans might have changed, it's still good to keep in mind rather than expecting more and being disappointed.
I'm well aware of this, however back then the comic was a "bimonthly tiny special" - This Comic is a 500+ Day large event, and while I still would say to not expect anything, it's still a small chance.
why are the saxxy awards listed as "major updates" they don't even add any new content, it's just "X got a Saxxy for winning Y Category!" if you counted out the "Annual Saxxy Awards" in each year you'd get 3 major updates in 2008 5 major updates in 2009 6 major updates in 2010 6 major updates in 2011 4 major updates in 2012 4 major updates in 2013 4 major updates in 2014 4 major updates in 2015 and 3 major updates in 2016 so in total there's been 35 major updates in this game's 9 year lifespan
I'd say "Ah, that new TF comic smell!" But it's hard to assign scents to virtual pixels. Even if they did carry a scent it would probably smell bad knowing the possible contents within. Speaking of which I would adore a paperback copy of these issues.
Have they ever mentioned how they are going to do that? These comics are markedly different from traditional print comics. Most of the comics feature multiple versions of the same panel which have small detail changes. At one point someone discussed using transparency overlays.
To a certain spy main: (contra) [t]http://i.imgur.com/2S32CoF.png[/t]
After saxxies were considered a major update I really accepted that they've decided anything can be as long as it has a recurring name slapped on it.
After saxxies were considered a major update I really accepted that they've decided anything can be as long as it has a recurring name slapped on it.
yeah, and especially since they've been counting the smissmas patches and saxxies as "major updates", but not summer 2013, which was practically gun mettle-tier
[t]http://i.imgur.com/2S32CoF.png[/t]
record the fucking line, contra
I can't shake off the feeling that the majority of one-of-a-kind items are ultimately wasted out of the game forever because they either landed randomly on joesmith1995 who played a few hours at some point or the people with talent barely having interest in tf2 as a game. dota2 hats, gwrench, saxxy, that camera reskin thing (seemingly the rarest), gpan, or those weird impossible unusual hats. and yea im butthurt
Wish I could have traded for the Proof of Purchase when Non-Tradable items where still gift wrapable. It's a piece of TF2 History, it's one of the few items i regret not having along with not being around when the Golden Wrenches were dropping. Yet I've been around for as long as half of TF2's lifespan. MvM was my gateway update.
I'm fairly sure the Dota 2 hats were planned as a promo to get people interested in Dota 2... but then the game pretty obviously didn't need it.

It's a shame toh, the Dota hats are really sweet - so much effort wasted :(
To a certain spy main: (contra) [t]http://i.imgur.com/2S32CoF.png[/t]
He's still not going to do it. :smug:
