Major Update Speculation V35 - A Distinctive Lack of Communication - Games

I'm glad we got confirmation of new balance changes, but what we need more than one huge balance update per year and then silence. Frequent balancing and responding to feedback should be the goal, not just a yearly balance update with no reasoning or explanation of the changes. i.e.: Bison nerf, [B][I]STEAK SANDVICH NERF[/I][/B].

[/QUOTE] This is Valve we're talking about, upcoming could very well mean July ;) Of course now we know we're getting a weapon rebalance blog post, I imagine the update will come 2-3 weeks after that blogpost so the TF2 team has time to view feedback and do some changes based on our suggestions.

If Valve adds a metal sync it may go back up for a bit but it's just going to keep going down.

Those things used to be worth over 10 times that amount and there's no metal in the equation.

I would prefer more something to play on, instead something to wear on. Last few years have been great on playable side, hence lots of maps were added into the game. But there is already loads of items in the game that i don't even bother to collect them all (i used to).

I will never understand why people get excited about Team-size, werent there like 20 last year? This really only confirms that there is a team, which everyone decent is already aware of. What excites me is the part of them announcing a Blog Post about balancing changes, alongsides actual *reasons* for them. I also think that now that Eric has a reddit account we'll see him be a bit more active on it aswell. Baby Steps. Congratulate those Steps instead of kicking the baby in the stomach.

I still get pissed off when people complain about neato, it's the most innocuous statement imaginable. Even if mym was a disappointment, it still did some interesting stuff, which is plenty for something to qualify as neato.

It was said that the next blog post is going to be pre-patch notes for the upcoming update. Who wants to bet for when it will come ?
