TF2 is like a bicycle; When it first came out, it was all shiny and new. After a few years, having broken it in and added bells and whistles, you're feeling pretty happy with your bike. Here and there it got dinged up a little but it works fine. A few more years later however it starts falling apart, but nothing a little tape and soldering can't fix right? Right now though, it is like dad finally stopped giving a shit about fixing the bike himself and took it to the discount "mechanic" in some alley in the middle of bum-fuck country, and then your younger sibling decided it'd be fun to throw mud and cottage cheese into every orifice of the bike. You still like the bike, but there isn't a lot of optimism going for it, more of an attachment to the fond memories of once was.
I would have loved to play more TF2 but Casual mode replaced Quickplay... And well, searching of "that one map" takes way too long, also I am sad that instead of funny and fun stuff happening in my games (new players learning how to play, occasional "god" player that was able tp get 100 points while other players had average of 15, changing teams as you wish, autoscramble, "random" maps after each game) but ever since I started to used Casual search engine, ~60% of the games are... Not that realy TF2ish. I realy miss people from the old team... Hell, I miss times when TF2 was basicaly their only MP game. tl;dr I want to be back in 2012

Maybe people are allowed to have their own opinions and have different values for what makes a game fun. Maybe people judge games not in a vacuum but also compared to other things which they could be doing instead. Maybe people have played this game for years and feel invested in it personally and want to see it get better. Maybe people dont judge the game solely on the most recent update but on years past and on what they think the future of the game looks like. Maybe writing essays on forums doesn't do anything but entrench both sides further in their opinions.
valve needs to reduce casual to 8v8, 12v12 is way too chaotic and results in major stompfests and team stacking to the max

Oh man, I love the truce feature in Boss Maps when you're playing Engineer. Spies can sap your shit and destroy them but you can't remove the sapper. Great job, Valve.

Great job, Valve.[/QUOTE] And you always have that cunt engineer on eyedduct that takes the opportunity to spawn camp at that time, if spies shouldn't be able to sap building during truce then buildings should either be destroyed after a truce or unbuildable during truce

I'd say thats a much less infuriating thing for Engineers than having spies just come place red tape everywhere so you cant even focus on the objective.

Sometimes they do dip down low, but almost always fill up just as fast. I still see the "I quit" mentality is more the communities fault and not valves TBH, leaving matches at the first sign of it going down hill, giving their team the middle finger because they're more important then everyone else on the server. Don't get me started on that awful awful team scramble or autobalance shit. But when comparing Quickplay and Casual MM though, Casual removed a lot of the issues I had with QP. I don't get regularly attacked by people who who make up rules and try to force me to follow them. People are actually playing the same game. Amongst other things. Yep, people still have fun matches and non super serious matches like in QP. Just got out of a manor match were our team was half snipers ( everyone was fine with it for once ) and we still managed to win. I believe I went spy most of that round myself. I do agree though that having to jump servers after every match with new faces makes socializing a bit difficult though. I believe Lord Exor was the one who brought that up. I just checked and I'm still stuck at 14/21 missions and still haven't gotten one this year. Hopefully they put out an update to fix that soon.

I hope they release a bunch of missons at once, otherwise I missed out on 4 days worth because of a bug I couldn't do anything about.
Inb4 contracts get fixed but event doesnt get extended by 4 days
Are we limited to receiving 1 new contract per day? I don't remember how things worked last year. And if so, does anybody know the reason for this? The contract rewards are untradable Halloween items, so it seems weird to limit them so much.
I'm at 16/21 missions, got only 2 this year. Has anyone surpassed 16 missions total yet?

Now that i see some people giving up on TF2 make's me feel bad for the people who actually wasted more than 2000$ of their life spending for this game. thinking it will have hope and be that fun and awesome game TF2. but no :v:
I think I spent more money on this game just in MvM tickets than anything else and not once did I ever get a single austrailium weapon
day 4 and still haven't got a single Marausmission got a beep man via transmute though.
